I think my biggest issue with DA having played through it twice (other then some of the fucking dumb bugs), is just how short it is for a long game. Like there really aren't that many sections to the game, just between load screens, cut scenes, and fights taking forever and a day, it takes a long time to play through it.

The dwarf society suddenly clicked with me once I got that codex entry that's a classified legislature memorandum saying basically they require this insane caste system because they don't have enough resources to go around and need troops on the front lines. Their whole society is going through this super-slow-motion, millennium-long apocalypse and it's driven them all completely batshit crazy.
It's dark, dark, dark. But I like that it's not really in-your-face about it, it just seems like "lol weird fantasy culture" until you dig a little deeper and/or roll up a dwarf commoner.

then again, I played as an Arcane Warrior on Casual, so the game was more like laggy diablo
maybe three? seriously, drop it down to casual and just motor through if it's that painful
