The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
This is the New Wednesday 10/13/10 Comic. Cherish it.
Well, looks like we have a new game for G&T to make look sexy, we already saw what they could do with falling down an infinite pit and a laser puzzle, gimme mecha satan and have him on your side as you fight a planet. I know they can make a campaign out of that.

I was really excited when I heard about the new set of Gamma World being DnD 4th edition rules. Then I heard that part of the gameplay was a CCG.
Thats...weird to me.
It's totally optional but variety is the spice of life, etc, etc.
Aren't the cards just a way of randomly determining what mutations or high tech devices a character gets during an adventure? Instead of rolling on a table, you draw a card from the deck. The game comes with a bunch of the cards but you can choose to pick up booster packs to add more mutations/tech to your game.
I am looking forward to getting off work so I can pickup a copy of Gamma World.
I'll be running a table for the Game Day next weekend. Should be exciting.
RaveBomb on
I'm off to pirate more music, steal software, and knock down little old ladies, then later I'm going to cover my self in Yak's blood, and lay in a pentagram, while reading some Marxist literature and praying to a heathen god.

I'm going to pick up a copy next month.
Just a word of warning. It has a CCG-like element to it. Mind you, it's just more random mutation cards and gear, but it does have booster packs.

Pretty sure it could.
Only limitation would be you'd have to use the DM's deck for Omega Tech and Alpha Mutations. But meh, no big deal.
