Well it's not like we're going to get a chance to judge that since capcom is not translating it :(

I really liked the transition to 3D; The characters don't just look right, they even move right.

I'm only through one case, and I agree with this entirely. I thought the 3D models worked pretty well in Layton vs. Wright, but AA5 makes them look absolutely amazing.

I only have one complaint, and it's Phoenix's finger. When he waves it up and down it has an unnatural "My pencil is made of rubber!" look to it that's kinda irks me.

Well, if you're interested in seeing AAI2's story before Duel Destines comes out, someone on Youtube has gone to great lengths in translating the entire game.

He/she has done a pretty good job, making sure to press every statement during testimony's, and presenting evidence that gets more dialogue and such. It's up to case 4 so there's ALOT of videos to marathon through.

Ermmmm... It's story is it's own, but there are some thing seen in AAI2 you'll see in DD.
From AAI2, the Character Raymon Furst goes to the same school (Or went, since this DD takes place years later) that's in case three of Duel Destinies. Pretty much the only thing I can think of, considering I've been trying to stay away from heavy spoilers.

Yeah, I've put down my thoughts on it a few pages back.

I thought it was pretty bad, but give if a watch if you're interested.

I linked to it a while back in this thread. It has subtitles.

It's not the best movie but I liked it.

Here's hoping it sells really, really well and leads to Edgeworth 2 getting a similar digital release. I don't want to watch it, I want to play it!

Not yet, just "Fall". Since I doubt it'll be ready to release in September, that means October or November.

Capcom reiterated that the overseas release of the game will also "receive the costume pack and additional episode," Turnabout Return, which is available in Japan.

Not providing any links, but yesterday the fan-translation of Ace Attorney Investigations 2 released a preview patch that translates the first two cases. Seriously though, why doesn't Capcom just hire these guys and do a digital release of their work on the eShop?

    We'll get back there someday.

This isn't the place for a discussion of piracy and importing and whatnot, but it just boggles my mind that draconian decisions regarding localization still exist in this modern digital distribution age.

I can almost understand Capcom not wanting to bother with a DSi game this late in the game, but there's a weirdly large amount of DSi stuff hitting eshop.

So I have ten days to beat WW:HD. Twelve days to beat Rune Factory 4 and EO 1 Remake, then another twelve days to "beat" Pokémon X. Fuckers. I have a back catalog of about ten games from this year alone.

This will jump the queue and be the game I play that weekend. Will be a nice change of pace from the rest.

They could pull what they did with the first DS game, release a version on the new system, with new content or not. Assuming 5 does business on the eshop.

Yup, 25€ and 30$. We've known that for a while now, it's refreshing not to get the annoying €=$ conversion for once.

Cool new trailer at the end, too. And that one does have spoilers (kinda), I think.

It may have had the same treatment as the EO:U demo, in that the music was compressed to reduce the size of the demo. Although, there was a message stating such before the EO demo.

I never played JFA and I don't remember finishing Trials and Tribulations (I do recall getting bogged down on the circus trial). I'll probably still get this, because it's been years since I've played Phoenix Wright and I miss it.
