Had an idea

I'm willing to bet this has been covered but I feel the moderation team (specifically the Help/Advice mods) might entertain the thought.

I'm proposing a stickied thread, granted several exist as is, that would be used to ask and answer simple questions people have. People have small questions/issues that may not need an entire thread but perhaps google did not help.

For example, I need to know if I can wear a thick shirt over a cashmere sweater and the sweater not pill. Google provided no help but the issue does not require its' own thread. No backstory about the problem or great detail. Short and sweet as the answers would be. Of course not every question will be a yes/no answer but if it is complex it would merit its' own thread.

I guess I'm thinking of it sort of as a Q&A thread. It popped into my head I'm just putting it out there.

Don't people already ask simple questions in H&A, just like the one you provided? I know I've seen them. They just usually get solved fairly quick and therefore locked. Plus they don't offer the opportunity to either pry into someone's life or talk about sex/drugs and so they don't go on for several pages. Not that I think it's a terrible idea, it just seems like an issue that's already addressed and would bring up the same kind issues the mods had with the mega threads in G&T (ignoring the clique bs, every time someone posted something that dealt with the DS they were deluged with posts telling them it was already discussed int he mega thread).
