Wasn't Jax good at one point?

Physical-based abilities (parley, etc) use to be dodgable IIRC which make the stat actually good.

LET'S DO THIS NUNU! *ping the map 5 times, say in chat "EVERYONE COME MID"*

Me and Nunu combo and Annie drops Tibbers on their Ezreal and Malz. WE GOT THIS! Hey, where is Kat? Why is she taking their red? Why is TF attacking their top tower? Oh shit I'm dead, so is Nunu. Annie ran after Tibbers was cast. Kat comes in to finish off Malz and then dies. TF teleports on their Poppy and does FUCK ALL.

This is why I have very low expectations for any game I play where I see a cardmaster on my team. He's not a bad champ, but about 80-90% of the people who play him appear to be silly geese who one time ever saw a successful backdoor win a game (probably while playing a 3v5 against people who just installed the client) and so now they're fanatically devoted to the idea that they can conquer all games all of the time on their own with this ingenious backdooring scheme.

or, more likely, since Eve can turn invisible she will kill everybody because not a single person understands the concept

This is what happens. People forget she is in the game. She shows up to gank them. They die and feed her. Then, when they have 400 gold, do they buy a pink pot? Fuck no, man, that's 400 that could go to their next item! So, she shows up, ganks them again, and it repeats all over.

Honestly, I just buy pink wards for the anti-stealth. So much cheaper, the stealthers can't tell that they're around, they give you map awareness, etc etc.

Eve is such a joke when you've got pink wards in the middle of each lane.

Jax is a pretty good counterjungler pick too, actually, depending on the enemy jungler. Probably more viable in the late game at harassing junglers than Eve is.

His dodge-heavy approach really messes-up the attack plans of Udyr, Warwick and Yi.
Early WW is based on his Hungering Strike, which IIRC cannot be dodged. Yi, Udyr, and Olaf he could conceivably give fits to, but I doubt it.

He's not really a great counterjungler, though, because his own jungling is really inconsistent. Sometimes he does great, sometimes he doesn't dodge once in like 8 hits and gets pasted.

With fighting WW 1v1, you have to strongly rely on him being low or not having red buff. Q is undodgeable, and the red buff does incredible amounts of withering damage over the course of a fight.

Though it depends, as my WW build is far, far more resilient than most other early WW's, so almost any other WW will be easier to kill than me. He's still pretty hard to fight 1v1 in any case.

Hungering Strike won't win WW a duel with Jax in the early game, though, because it's mana intensive. WW relies on his W + auto-attacks for a lot of his damage, and Jax can mess that up.

You're right in that the guy really needs to hope the RNG looks favorably upon him - but that's better than Eve, who has trouble getting anything done if there's pink stuffs around.

It's really, really hard to counter a counter-jungling Eve early game because junglers can't spare the gold for an Oracles and laying down sight wards at 150 gold a pop throughout the jungle is....rather inefficient to say the least.

Well, no, but what can Eve do in the early game? If she picked up her stealth, she can hit me once and stun me and commence mediocre auto-attacking. Is there any jungler that would lose that fight? I'm pretty sure WW wouldn't, especially a WW that took Cleanse.

Depends on the jungler and where they start. Safe starts at small golems or wolves probably wouldn't lead to anything but some wasted time. There are a few junglers that get pretty damn low trying golem first or the like where a stun + some auto attacks (+some help from the creeps) can really fuck up a player.

HP quints I like simply because they work great with basically all champs. +100 hp early game is never a bad thing. Armor pens are likely more useful in the long run though but benefit fewer champions. If you have IP to blow, armor pen... if not... HP.

The thing is, Eve can pick her fight with the jungler at will. Most junglers take a decent amount of damage from the golem for example. That's a good time for her to strike.

If you want to dive, I'd honestly go with either Shen or Pantheon. They have an easier time tanking the tower hits.

Infinite Duress + Hungering Strike can mitigate the tower damage pretty nicely, but WW has a pretty shallow HP pool and no escapes or shields, so you're really dependent on your lifesteal to keep you on your feet against champ attacks - having a tower hammering away at you as well as the dude you dove is a bit much to handle until you're level 10+

Shen, on the other hand... man, W+E were just made for diving.

If you want to dive, Poppy is the answer. 6 seconds of immunity to the tower, and the best part is, towers don't switch aggro anymore once locked on, so you can tank the tower like a boss for your lane partner or team.

If they start at blue, Eve can kill golems real quick and ghost over to blue and arrive there as they are still 2 and wreck them. Or she can go Ignite/Smite instead and the Ignite after the stun, with the neutrals still beating on them, can lead to death. Or just Smite the buff, which many junglers simply can't function without.

Bloody hell. The wonderful matchmaking just pitted our team of level 30s with a combined total of 2200+ wins against a team ranging from level 5 to level 14. That is just so wrong. It was more one sided than our inhouses.

An eve tried to gank my Udyr at the golems one time. I killed the golems, turned around and killed her too. I can't imagine she would stand a chance against Udyr/WW/Olaf, the supreme 1 on 1 champions.
