My first thought is: it's too complicated for a logo, I think it could be simplified and convey the same thing.
My personal preference is that 'line art' makes logos look too much like an illustration that's been shrunk down, rather than something which has been designed as a logo.
Also there's actually something rather sad about the depiction of a trapped alien...
But on the plus side, it's still better than the previous one!
I agree with Grenn that it might be a little too complicated, could perhaps use more contrast too. Perhaps make the alien mostly black and make his eyes just white? I dunno.
Gibs I think it could be simplified too, but I also see a ton of more illustrative logos for small studios. I dont think you have to go overboard trying to redo the concept.
Thanks for the input guys, I didn't want something too simple, like an icon as the logo will never be that tiny. I really liked wasser's direction, so here's my rip of that.
Drawin' a Dogorilla - I realize the legs are probably the most retarded about him. I tried to make them look dog like, but really have no idea where to go from here besides looking at more reference. Also does this look like a good idea for a character?

In 100 years digital will be traditional, everyone else will be drawing with mind control. Cake will be living in a age-stasis chamber painting with paint and cursing the of benefits mind control art on the Outernet.

To replace the uh... not so great and possibly copyright infringing previous logo:

However, I'm also printing an art-print version, without any of the text, which will be for sale.
Scos, you know it.
And yeah I totally used some blur effects and masks to make the depth of field effect.
Gibs, I love that, but play around with some more simpler ideas with the same concept.

With light outlines to show face, arm, foot, etc.
All black.
I think it's cooler, more ominous. I also got rid of the rivets.
I'm not sure I like you giving Twitter legitimacy by your putting worthwhile things on it.

The tangents between the eye contours and the cage bars are bothersome, though.
