I busted my ass to get "Accepted" by the NCR, I get to the strip and get a summons to the ambassador. Then my faction gets reset to neutral, and I'm asked to KILL NCR MEMBERS....absolutely ridiculous.
It all ended with me getting my faction to NCR reduced to nearly nothing.
I'm a firm supporter of ironicly over the top SCIENCE!! make no mistake.
Its just, now that I know that plasma is the proper word for the substance fire is made of, seeing Plasma weaponry all over the place in sci-fi anything is just... really... grating. I picked up the incinerator and was halfway expecting them to call it a plasma bolter or something. Not that it isnt exactly what it is, but, you know?
Especially since in Fallout they treat it as some sort of magic dissolvo-green goo. Not flesh incinerating horror-heat like you'd expect it to be.
in NV is there any armour that looks like the ranger combat armour from FO3?
and is it possible to go through this game killing pretty much everyone you come across and looting their bodies without messing up the plot?

Any simple little freeware programs out there that will back up a folder to a different location on a regular basis for you (every 5 minutes or something)?
I do NOT want to lose my saves.
i use gfi home backup at... home to backup my various save game folders every night. I think you can set it to every 5 also.
go into the game, open up the console with ~ and click on ED-E and Boone and give me their ID numbers, it'll appear at the top of the screen when you click on them with the console active.
Boone and ED-E just vanished from my game, and I cant find them anywhere.
By being a focused character? My ten int character is getting 17 skill points a level by 6, and thats.... Well, specific, but not impossible to have 70 repair at that point. Or completly maxed, to be blunt.

hes already done like 17 pages of the xml's, the rest he needs to see himself like the blackjack games and such.
