So my current chair sucks to sit in for more than an hour or so. Starts to hurt all over, made out of crappy cloth, basically just terrible. So I want something super comphy I can sit in, lean back in, and hopefully not be a zillion dollars. Looking for under 100, but I can go up to 150ish for the right chair. Any recommendations from people who buy chairs? What's comphy, and where do I buy one?
Heyyy I just got one of these yesterday for the same reason.
Look for used/pre-owned/liquidated office furniture stores around your area. You can get a really good chair for about your price range. I got a $500 chair for $150 (later marked down to $100 cuz I'm awesome.)
Make sure you get (soft) arm rests to support your elbow at the desk. Also, it's nice to manipulate the seat and back so it doesn't feel like you're being ejected or pushed out.
I bought a pretty nice leather (or imitation leather, but leatherish) mid-back rolling desk chair at Office Depot for $60 on clearance last week. YMMV but I'm sure many Office Depots and Staples will have deals like that.

The marginal difference between $100 and $150 isn't much. I bought a broken aeron for $5 at a yard sale that i had repaired for $50. aerons would be worth it at full price if you're working in the chair.

I'll second Staples. It's where I've been getting my chairs since '00 and they've been comfy and the right price. Just walk into a staples and sit down in a couple. Give 'em a test drive.

That post is the correct answer.
Yup. You'll spend a minimum of 400 dollars on a decent, comparable chair at Staples/Office Depot, etc. unless you find something on an amazingly good sale. Also check out craigslist or the used websites in your area, good chairs or shelving don't stay up there long, but you might snag something.
