Hmmmm. Now that I think about it. Wouldn't a likely target to be Seered be B:L? I would vote for him, but I'm not comfortable with a 1 vote lead.

Isn't B:L the one that is never evil?

Holy shit this vote is becoming way to important already. One vote could swing everything and if it swings the wrong way it will blind the village.

Ok I have to make a decision and I'm not feeling the two main wagons.

He may have been never evil before but I think B:L has had a turn for the undead.

    because he asked so nicely

I think the wagon is a poor one, because as weird as what he did last night was, everyone knows he's kind of enigmatic, but an experienced player, and wouldn't make a mistake like that.

that being said, i'd rather have him more than 1 vote ahead.

So either Crumble or The Anonymous was taken last night. My bets would be on The Anonymous as he would probably seem more of a threat to the mafia and The Anonymous also seems more active than Crumble making him more unlikely to have missed a day.

Now does anyone want to try and prove that Matev didn't hit Dracula with SOME KIND of friendly ability? Exactly. It would be foolish to suggest otherwise. Now from this long arguement we can draw two facts.

    1. Matev used some kind of friendly ability, quite possibly a Seer on Dracula
    2. Matev was killed by Dracula for using this ability

Now. Who would you be most likely to Seer if you weren't all that good at Phalla? Either a good friend or a very experienced player. Thus my experienced player witch-hunt.

Do we actually think a mafioso has a reaction-kill to a seer? That would be all sorts of silly.

Right, even though Matev fails at ghost posts, it is much more likely that he went, "Hey, want to network?" or used a cupid ability at most. And I don't even understand what you are talking about with this experienced player bit. We have no way of inferring who Matev would think to trust, maybe he just worked with someone in a previous game? These 'facts' are all wild speculation, which I am not saying is a terrible thing to do to get conversation going, I just don't think the village should be lapping it up so easy.

And if this is some kind of gambit, and people actually buy it, it creates a grounds for doubting any seers/mouth pieces that may show up.

Alright. I see a point here. I've just been coming up with theories which is damn well more than any of you geese have been doing. Maybe Matev wasn't a Seer. That's fine. But if you were a relative newbie at Phalla you would try to network with the experienced players first.

I know. I've been in that situation. In my second Main I obtained valuable information and who did I go to? Alegis and Infidel. Two of the players that I percieved as having the greatest chance of helping me succeed in my endeavers. Maybe it is just speculation but at least it gives us some targets for the future.

    Day 3

The whole village is in complete terror of the might and power of the vampires. Adrian, the harbormaster, refuses to stay around for this terror any longer. He decides to leave this cursed town. He grabs a few of his belongings and heads for the open seas. While climbing aboard his ship, he notices a liquor bottle floating and tapping against his ship. Inside he finds a message which reads....

Hey guys, it's me, Ilie. I could really use a hand here?
I heard the evil ones mention that Kathy O'Hara was next.

Adrian turns to run back and show the rest of the village. However the mob of villagers has already come to him. Some villagers notice that he was loading up his ship to run. They suspect he is involved with all the troubles. Adrian tries to tell them what he has found, but they ignore him. Before he can try and defend himself, one of the village leaders runs a dagger straight through his heart.

Another villager picks up the note and reads it. Kathy O'Hara is not around. Everyone hurries back to her home in search of her. While approaching, the same mysterious man runs out of her home and disappears into the forest behind. As you reach the front door, you are able to see a pair of legs on the floor. But when you approach, it is Mina Murray laying there. Everyone suspects it was the mysterious man who killed Mina.

The search continues for Kathy O'Hara who can not be found anywhere in the village.

During all the panic and terror, two vampires fly through the center of town carrying yet another body. Without even slowing, they let the body fall and tumble into several villagers. Several women shriek at the sight of poor Erika's body now mangled in the road.

Will the terror ever end? What can we do to stop these vicious attacks?

    The Fallen
Capfalcon - Erika - Governess (Foolhardy Lover)
Darkewolfe - Mina Murray - School Teacher (Alignment Seer)
    Dunadan019 - Adrian - Harbormaster

    The Missing
    The Anonymous - Ilie
    Nakirush - Kathy O'Hara

Clarification - Rules for The Missing
    - The Missing are not allowed to speak to anyone else in the village.
    - No Main Thread Posting, No PMs, No Proboards, No methods of any kind!
    - If the Vampires catch you trying to break these rules, you will not escape.

This is a game. No cheating. I am asking nicely, please.

I actually think a lot of us probably think this, but the problem invariably comes down to

is there anyone else who voting for will give us any kind of clue? Well, we COULD just day 1 again, but thats prooobably less fruitful. At least if he shows up green, maybe we can look to people pointing at sirfab/dunadan and if there is any overlap, maybe they are our next target. But going to that step before we've cleared sirfab is maybe too presumptuous.

That being said, SirFab is spreadsheeting for us. So I guess I'm going to hold off for now, though unfortunately I don't have the time to go over vote records today or tomorrow. Hopefully someone else does and finds something!

In any-case, I started really thinking about the fact we VOTED out a vampire the first day and think that actually, we may have gotten alot luckier then originally thought.

With a completely untouched mafia and no suspicions the first day, they could have voted for whoever they liked without repercussions, so with only 4 votes, why did Godmode win the vote?

Wouldn't the mafia have been easily able to push the second place into first or at least a tie?

The only reason I can think of that they wouldn't do exactly that because second place wasn't someone they wanted to die either!

Could it be we found 2 vampires on the first day?

So, in light of this post and a review of the votes from the first day I may have found something interesting.

The idea proposed was that the vampires wouldn't vote one of their own out, hence they didn't push Sir Fab over the top.

This would mean that it is unlikely any late votes for godmode on Day1 were from vampires. They might be willing to hide some votes on their own kind, but likely wouldn't actually vote them completely out when the options are wide open.

If SirFab were a vampire, we shouldn't see any vampire votes for him either for the same reason. But, if you look back, godmode himself voted for Sir Fabulous. When he cast this vote, there was only one vote in for himself and were already two for Sir Fab. If he and the other baddies were looking to oust a villager, they could have just voted for one of the other folks that already had a vote on their head and been fine with it.

In summary, I don't know what circumstance led to a four vote ousting a vampire on the first day, but I don't think they were protecting Sir Fab by having one of their own vote for him.

As such, I find Garick quite suspicious today.
