I do want to compliment the mafia on how well they carried this off. They kept their scapegoat alive long enough to sow disent and now they get to waste a day of voting records. You guys pulled it off brilliantly. I'd say that if we don't nab a Vamp tonight they have a very high chance of winning.
That means all the pressure is on you Vig.

Roman brings up a good point. I don't think Sir Fab is evil, so I'll at least vote on someone who I think has a chance of being evil. That person being Garick

Of course, this one change of vote won't matter, but at least I'm not knowingly voting on someone who I don't think is evil.

    Day 4

It was a normal day in this small town... People were screaming, many were dying and some were maniacally laughing.

A few of the men from the village were busy digging the many graves from the massacre of previous days. They notice two men emerging from the edge of the woods. One of them is the mysterious man. The other is none other than Ilie. The gravediggers stop what they are doing and come running to help. But the mysterious man sees them coming and sprints back into hiding in the forest. Ilie cannot keep his balance and falls to the ground. As the men help carry Ilie to the nearest house, they notice bite marks all over his body from the vampires. They are all afraid to know what has happened to Ilie.

With Ilie now laying on a bed, he begins to tell his story of imprisonment. He tells how the vampires feasted on him. He tells about Kathy O'Hara helping him escape. He tells of the mysterious man who found them escaping and helped them get away. The mysterious man's speed and strength was unmatched. He carried Ilie over his shoulder and was still able to run faster than Kathy could keep up. The vampires soon realized the escape. But Kathy was unable to out run them like the powerful mysterious man.

The villagers now crowded around the bed asked Ilie if he knew the mysterious man's name. It was none other than the great Abraham Van Helsing! He has been hunting vampires all his life and has come here to stop Count Dracula.

Ilie's story is interrupted by the abrupt entry of a woman. "Maria Renard is missing! We have not seen her anywhere around the village!" And so it seems the vampires have claimed a new victim for them to feast upon.

By midday, everyone whispers about how they are sure Margerta is hiding something sinister. It does not take long before a mob forms around her and destroys another of their own.

In the evening, most of the village gathers at the inn to drink their sorrows away. Just as the mood begins to turn to cheer, in bursts the now bold vampires! They begin to taunt the helpless and drunk villagers. To scare the villagers even more, they grab what seems to be the strongest in the room and start to feast in front of all. The strong and powerful chimney sweeper, Cornel, is turned weak and helpless.

As blood pools around the body and taunting continues, the doors are swung open to the inn. It is Abraham Van Helsing! He fires a bullet directly at one of the vampires. But with the fresh blood, the vampire is too fast. The bullet meant for the vampire hits the innkeeper's daughter, Octavia. The vampires are gone before anyone can even react.

    The Fallen
    Jimtopia - Octavia - Innkeeper's daughter
REG Rysk - Cornel - Chimney Sweeper
Sir Fabulous - Margerta - Barmaid

    The Missing
    Nakirush - Kathy O'Hara
    Garick - Maria Renard

The Escaped! - The Anonymous - Ilie

Clarification - Rules for The Missing
    - The Missing are not allowed to speak to anyone else in the village.
    - No Main Thread Posting, No PMs, No Proboards, No methods of any kind!
    - If the Vampires catch you trying to break these rules, you will not escape.

This is a game. No cheating. I am asking nicely, please.

Sorry Sir Fab, looks like you were honestly trying to help! I feel like voting Garick will just be a repeat of the Sir Fab incident, where a vocal player is voted out for trying to get conversation going, so I am going to put my vote on firemanfred for trying to swing the wagon on the next seemingly easy target. I feel like this is a mafia tactic to keep us on the same terrible pattern we have been on since we got "lucky" on day one.

He is countnig, like the Count from sesame street, and is presumed to be a vamp of sorts. It is more likely he is a nuetral, but even if he is a vamp, he is a) amusing and b) an obvious choice, which makes it better to shoot around him for the time being.

    So no REAL reason then?

Is anyone spreadsheeting this madness? There has to be a connection between the Duna wagon and the SirFab wagon.

I am guessing no. Or, maybe the mafia is, but no one on village side that I know of. I feel like that first red name sent us on a downward spiral we are having difficulty recovering from. If we don't hit something tonight, I think it is gonna be GG.

I'm going to ignore that you voted for me for a moment and address your comment. There are very few vocal players thus far to look at. Garrick has made some posts, Sir Fab posted some theories, and I myself chimed in. It seems like the limited amount of banter after that was spawned from those posts.

That being said, I'm sure it's easier to find something suspicious by reading through posts as opposed to all the other non-posts that are out there from the silent majority of folks. I can't make an argument on why to vote for someone else based on their post content, when there is none to consider.

I do, however, have a spreadsheet (I've heard vampires hate Excel, btw). It contains a record of voters and who they voted for and when. If anyone has tips on what types of things I can look for that would be helpful, I'll be glad to take a look. I'm going to go look at the Sir Fab and Duna votes right now, but the problem is going to be that there were so many votes for Sir Fab yesterday that any mafia that wanted to interrupt the pattern could have easily just hopped off the wagon for greener pastures without fear that the vote would shift. Also on the day Duna went out, for the mafia it may not have mattered which one went since we now know both of them were villagers anyway. That means they could spread themselves across either of the giant voting blocks that occurred that day.

My campaign to get people to switch to Garick yesterday happened to provide a convenient vehicle for both legit villagers and sneaky vampires, which I knew going into it. Even with that being said, there were still 10 votes for Sir Fab at the end

Either way, I can't make any further accusations toward Garrick right now since he went missing last night. Is it accurate to think that going missing means you're an innocent villager?

After looking at this I feel I need a post from B:L to inject a little humor into my counting routine :P

    Notes from the Votes:
    • Of the 5 people who voted for SirFab on Day 2, 3 were alive on Day 3 and all voted for him again (Garick, Kias, Jim). The only two of those that are still alive are Garick and Kias, as Jimtopia was killed by the vig.
    • Of the 9 people who voted for Dun on Day 2, 8 survived to see Day 3 (Darkewolfe was vig'd). 5 of those then moved to the day 3 bandwagon and voted for Sir Fab. Nakirus was abducted, moleface missed the vote.
    • This means everyone who voted for Dun on Day 2 either voted for Sir Fab on Day 3, was dead, abducted, or missed the vote; with the exception of B:L
    • For even more consistency, if you combine Day 2 pools of voters for SirFab with voters for Dunadan and look at Day 3, Everyone who was able to cast a vote that day kept it hitched to the bandwagon, with the exception of B:L who cast a vote for Farangu. Mole didn't vote, Naki got abducted.
    • 14 bandwagon votes on Day 2 (two wagons though), 10 on Day 3. 8 of the 14 stayed on the wagon. Three died. One was abducted. One didn't vote. B:L was the sole wagon abandoner. Farangu and Crumble joined the wagon brigade on the Day 3.
    • There were five of us who were outlier voters on Day 2, myself included. Myself and Farangu pointed at Kime, Roman and Dogbone fingered B:L, and Nodgarb liked Moleface.
    • Day 3 saw even fewer outliers. Nodgarb (vote switched from SF), Dogbone and myself voted for Garick, Roman for B:L, and B:L for Farangu
    • Unfortunately, the vig has nailed 3 villagers in a row and has targeted someone who was voting with the majority each time: Alegis, Darkewolfe, Jimtopia

Garick was the first to state the theory of why we should vote off Sir Fab, and you posted vigorously in support of this idea. The only thing we had to base it on was a joke, and the fact that he ended up second in votes on day 1. You stuck by those on Day 3, insisting that once the vote for that day was finalized, we would have a clear picture of suspects.

If I am your clear picture, I'd like to hear why you think so. As Akimbo pointed out, once Sir Fab and Dun were shown to be villagers, it made sense to look at those who threw them under the bus. That started with Garick, and that's where my suspicions went.

well, I was going to vote on Garick, but since he has gone missing I can't very well vote for him, and the reasons I would vote for him goes out the window.

So, in light of that, something tells me Crumble. I don't know what, but whatever we were doing before wasn't working.
