Actually, now that I think about it, it was computer gaming that really messed with my reading. I had gamed a lot as a child, then during high school and early undergrad I didn't really at all outside of arcades or internet cafes. Then when I did the bar/post grad/working I could afford a series of gaming computers or consoles and then WOW came along...Quitting that in 07 really got me back into reading
I ended up getting a migraine last night thank gods for the migraine meds I have otherwise I would of pretty much been suffering for at least 24 hours.
I'm not an educational pyschologist if that's what you're asking. But given I was diagnosed by such, and researched it fairly heavily to get a laymans appreciation I feel comfortable talking in 'probables'.
I have played Diablo 1 and 2 and I have to say that neither really floats my boat. The combat is repetitive and boring. Hell that is why I have never finished Torchlight. A man can only click so long before he gets bored. The multiplayer also held 0 interest to me. And some of the stories between hackers and such makes me even less interested.
I am actually kind of looking forward to Dungeon Siege 3 a bit more because 1 was a lot of fun and I use to make fun of my EQ friend calling it EQ the single player game. Mostly because of how many sparkly graphics my sword had.
Renaissance art and modern graphic design are not really related. Also, a turtle in school? o_O
oh, by the way, I came up with a way to remember how to spell renaissance: one n because nascor has one and re has none (the original root words), two Ss because the c was converted, and an I because French is weird
Actual CV or resume? Because they are very different.
I don't know the difference...?
That thing that I have and bring into places like McDonalds and Supervalu and they give me low paying temp work for Christmas....
That's a resume, then. CV's are mostly for when you've done a lot of shit and write down everything with your name on it. Mostly just for professors and people trying to be professors with, like, 9 pages of published works citations and research and shit.
Do you want it to be kind of fancy, or are you just aiming for [__]-monkey work where the effort isn't warranted?

Clearly the onus is on you to make your posts more valuable.

More like a sad, melted, pathetic snowflake.
Mine was always "well that's stupid - why were you outaggroing the tank? not my fault you died"
I probably won't have much money to spare on video games in 2015, though
I disagree. It's a nethack clone, infused with awesome, and with the over-the top randomness toned down a little bit.
Let's play Mario Kart or something...
Shit be amazing even a year and a half ago.

or do the turtles themselves know graphic design
I suppose it's not much of a stretch to say that michelangelo, et al. probably went to art school

In the UK that would be called a CV. In the US resume seems to be used as the term for the same thing.
