Tagging images within post.

Hey so this is really minor, but I was just curious if it went away for a reason (Or if it ever was on this forum). I used to post by dumping all the urls to images into my post, then going through highlighting them and clicking the image button. Now it only brings up the pop up, so I cant just wrap tags around urls already in the post.

I feel like it used to work the same way the spoiler tag does, and to me that was slightly more convenient when posting multiple images. Am I just remembering incorrectly?

I don't know the answer to your question, but an alternative that might be faster would be to copy [noparse][/noparse] in your clipboard then quickly click/paste it before each URL, then repeat at the end with [noparse][/noparse]. It works best if all the URLs are on their own lines, but even if they're not it should still be quicker than having to highlight the url and go up to the image button each time.

Thanks smasher, that probably is the better way. Maybe I can find a way to make an action for it or something. I still wonder if it used to work that way. Am I making that up?

There are some features that seem to be browser-dependent as well.

No, I don't think you are. I dislike that popup too. Now I highlight a url in my post, copy, click the image button, paste, hit enter...

Yeah I think it use to just be like the spoiler or quote tag, where it'd just put the tags around highlighted text.

I don't mind the new pop-ups. If I've got multiple URLs to put in I generally just type the bbcode myself.

Edit - Which isn't a solution to this, but I just kinda go with it.
