Hi! Me and some of my friends work at a small animation studio in Massachusetts that sometimes does game cinematics work. We put this short together between other projects. I hope you like it! But even if you don't, please let me know what you think--we'd love to get some outside opinions!
Thanks! It actually took about two and a half years, but that wasn't any kind of sustained work: we did it inbetween paying gigs so months often went by before we could go back to it.
We'd love to make more so you can throw money at them! Unfortunately, nobodies ever figured out how to monetize fully animated CG shorts, or believe me, we'd be doing that instead of commercials and cinematics.
BTW, we have a vimeo version up now too, it has slightly higher quality then the YouTube version.

I want to see a sequal where he finally gets a live person so he has to run back and get his two-way. Then he finds out that he has reached galaxy extraction and needs to get universal extraction (due to being out of their sector) instead. So they transfer him and he gets put on hold again.
That was great. I have to admit I half expected one of the robots to start talking in the voice from the help line at some point. All the machines are against him.

I sort of expected a real person to pick up after he dropped it.
