I'm going to order the Inception limited edition from Amazon UK. So I went through and set up the order just to see how much it's going to cost in total. I'm expecting the shipping to be crazy expensive but the tally shows the shipping at £3.08
So my questions are thus:
1) Seriously!? How can it be so cheap? It's 6-10 day shipping... I've paid more (exchange rate taken into account) for smaller packages sent to the US that have taken over 21 days. Is the UK postal system, in fact, magic?
2) Am I going to have to pay any extra... like... customs stuff? Or any other charges that pop up? I'm going to pay using a pre-paid Mastercard so I need to make sure I buy one with enough cash to spare on it.
Is it just a dvd sized package? If so, that seems about right. Ive had albums shipped in media mailer and it cost about 3 pounds. I could be wrong but i think its due to the fact the UK post office isnt set up to make profits the way canada post and USPS are.
If you get charged customs Canada Post will charge you at your door. Happened when I ordered some golf clubs. Cash, debit, or credit are accepted right there. It will not be automatically charged to your prepaid card.

I doubt that you'll have to pay any customs fees. I bought ForgeWorld minis a while back and paid no extra fees. They just popped the package in my mailbox and off they went.
And yes, the shipping was crazy cheap.
