I still have my gift copy of half life 2 from the Orange Box since my brother never logged in and accepted his gift. I can't even give the game away, it pretty much comes with steam.
Sucks that the Borderlands DLC isn't discounted (wanted the newest one :P)
Other than that, I'm only mildly interested in Alpha Protocol, and not that much.
(And S&M: S3, but I haven't played S2 yet, so I'm holding out on that one for the Holiday Sale.)
I don't understand how that page decides what the top 10 things on my wishlist are, as it certainly isn't the way I ordered them on the list.
i only have 5 things in my wishlist
Then you need to add five more. The contest only for people with 10 or more things on their wishlists.
Eligibility: Entry open to any user holding a Steam account in good standing, who completes a Wish List with at least ten (10) single game titles. One entry per user and one win per user. Multiple entries/multiple Steam accounts will be disqualified. Employees of Sponsor (including directors and officers) and their immediate families or affiliates are not eligible.
I can't believe they still want that much for Prototype after this long. I keep hoping for a good sale on it and every time it's just not cheap enough.
So whats the verdict on Alpha Protocol? Worth it for 7.50?
Or should i wait for better sales?
Well, I've personally been hemming and hawwing over buying this one forever, being all "Well, I hear it's buckets of fun, but do I really have $30 to spend on a game that will likely stay on my backlog for a while since I have so much other shit to do? Nahhh."
But I DO have $7.50 for a game that will likely stay on my backlog for a while, since it'll save me $20 down the road.

My finish criteria was get all the achievements. I felt pretty satisfied getting the 75% completion one.
And the great thing is that I have plenty of places on the map to "liberate" if I ever want to show someone what Just Cause 2 is all about. I've loved the reactions I've gotten just by jump-parachuting out of a moving car.
Holy shit, you actually do have all the achievements. How in hell did you manage to drive all the vehicles?
I kinda tried to discover all the places on the map, but after a while it got boring to just do that. I think I have around 40% completed.
Eventually I succumbed to using some guide I found on the internet to find the few remaining vehicles I was missing. I also had a few DLC vehicles which can actually count toward the achievement.
I'm playing through AP now and am having a great time. The story is pretty solid and the gameplay is great if you like to sneak around and choke out guys from behind. The shooting is not great but silenced pistol with chain shot is good fun as well. It's worth the 7.50.
It has its flaws but overall I am really enjoying it alot more than I anticipated from most of the reviews.

That indie bundle is too good to pass on. Good job, Steam, hitting me unprepared like this. I didn't think the sales would start until after Thanksgiving. I haven't had a chance to harden my resolve. Well played, sirs. Well played.
It would appear that some games aren't eligible for the contest, or at least show up in my wishlist, but not on the my top 10 page. Specifically I'm noticing The Witcher, The Witcher 2, Borderlands Claptrap DLC and Aquaria.

Witcher 2 is showing up for me. The premium edition even.

Finally bit on Alpha Protocol at that price. Going to have to wait a while to install it though - new PC arrived last week, and after upgrading from a 130gb hard drive to 1.5TB I've been downloading and installing the majority of my Steam and GoG collections.
At least until I remembered that Comcast has a 250gb download cap
Yeah...I'm going to have to hold off on some of these for a while now...

The Premium edition is the only edition of the Witcher 2 you can buy. That and the 'creepy marble bust of the main character staring at you from across the room' edition. And yeah, it's showing up for me too - I panic-added 5 recent, full-priced games to my list after discovering my wishlist was entirely comprised of £3-£6 items.
And thought I'm sure it will be said many times: yes, Alpha Protocol is definitely worth it, especially at that price. Choose the pistol, martial arts and stealth tech-trees and play the game as it was meant to - then play through a couple more times as a shotgun-wielding psychotic who butchers every central character.

this little bit of fine print made me change my mind about entering.
How the he'll do you edit the wishlist? I'm on my phone so it's possible I'm missing something but I'm only seeing ways to sort not to edit the rank yourself.
You just drag and drop. You can also type a new number.

Yes, I am logged in and changes I make are shown immediately.
I just updated my wishlist (and clicked save) and it updated the top 10 page about a minute later. Switch the order of two around and click save, see if that helps.

It's a drag and drop deal, so yeah, you're probably out of luck on your phone.

God I hope they add more games to this.
Yep.
Also, they're gifting 30 people per day their top 5 games on their 5 wishlist which can now be re-arranged by order of importance.

its at that weird place between 5 and 10 dollars where I just flip flop and debate the merits of getting it

I played the first three episodes, then played through seasons 1 and 2, then played through the last two.
If you liked the first two seasons, the third season is fun (though a lot easier), and the psychic powers add cool twists to the game.

- The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (2017, colorized)
Prototype is supposed to be pretty good, right? I'm considering getting that and Shank.

May as well add 5 more filler games.

Unless you also wait for the DLC (or unless you don't ever want the DLC) to go on sale it will be a wash.
edit: Wow. That's...... That price, its.... err, yeah. I think I'll pass.
