http://www.eventhubs.com/images/2010/nov/15/collectors-edition-image-marvel-vs-capcom-3/ also says at the bottom, "**DLC IS AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD 30 DAYS AFTER GAME LAUNCH". And the ** is referring to the LE's downloadable two-character pack.

It's just for the advertising, since the ESRB frowns upon that shit apparently. The in game models will be as ridiculously overbreasted as usual.

And Shuma-Gorath will have a new, updated Chaos Dimension where he morphs two of his tentacles into giant breasts and stuffs the opponent in between them.
I'm not sure if that will actually happen.
Then again, I'm not sure that they won't do that, either

Nothing can ever be overbreasted. Except in Japan.

Anyway, please, please make Ryu a solid mid tier. I hate that I gimp myself when I use my favorite character in any Vs. game.

Ryu was pretty good in TvC.

Dunno if that's going to hold for MvC3 if he doesn't have the benefit of universal double jump + airdash.

By the way, is X-Factor the same thing as Baroque was in TvC?

Close but not quite. In TvC, you could activate Baroque whenever your point character had some red life meter (except during supers). Like XFC, this canceled the recovery on whatever move preceded it and allowed for extended combos. Baroque combos dealt more damage if a lot of red meter was used up to activate it (20% or more red meter could lead to 100% combos for several characters), but it didn't eliminate damage scaling. It could be reactivated the very next time you got more red life, so purposefully letting yourself get some chip damage from projectiles was a decent strategy, and being able to activate it multiple times in a match made it just as good of a defensive tool as an offensive one because it could be used to cancel normally unsafe pokes. Since Baroque had so much offensive potential in TvC, most players would opt to save their super meter for mega crash (burst) instead of using them for attacks. Generally the only time you'd see a top player use a level 3 super in TvC is when they know it's a guaranteed KO.

The biggest difference with XFC is that it's a once-per-match thing, I guess.

Yeah, basically if you've played GG or BB think of Baroque as a rapid cancel you could use any time during the match as long as you had red health, and it increased your damage more damage you yourself had taken.

I don't think Baroque let a single character cancel supers into supers either. It's been a long time since I touched TvC, so I could be wrong about that.

Since it's coming out in Japan as well it will probably have a Japanese and English voice casting. Most current gen fighters do that.

Marvel characters only have English voice actors. Seth Killian mentioned that earlier on in development, they did have Japanese voices for them, but the team eventually decided that it just didn't really feel right, and so they dropped it.

Capcom characters have voices in both languages.

You'd think they would have Japanese voices for Wolverine and X-23 at least.

Dang, took me a second to even figure out what that was taken from.

Best I can make out, they're kind of skinny, pointing with their left arm, no crazy hair, a big collar of some sort, and some thin stuff strapped to their back (a bow, maybe)? Taskmaster would be my first guess out of the various leaks, but it doesn't look hooded

No offense Chris Redfield, but both Leon S. Kennedy and Hunk would be way better and more recognizable.

Though with the random insertion of female characters (tee hee) I could see Ada or Jill show up.

Jill is a legacy slot Wesker is the series antagonist.

Past that considering they went with Actual Dante and Not Dantward I see no reason to whore RE5 so much when Leon's games have been more popular overall .

Actually RE5 was the best selling RE to date.

I'm sure a lot of that could be contributed to RE4 being a hit and if you combined all the versions of RE4 they probably sold more overall.

That being said, pretty laughable saying that Leon is more recognizable than Chris, but maybe that's just because I'm an old school RE fan. I would say they're about the same as far as notoriety goes.

Though I will say that the Leon is a pretty overrated character and I don't get why people keep clamoring about wanting him in the game. Not like either of them are written all that well or have character above that of your average action movie hero.
