Sort of. The Dr. Strange storyline where he debuted was one big Cthulhu Mythos homage, with Doc encountering weird alien demons with names like Shuma-Gorath (Shub-Niggurath), Kathulos (Cthulhu), Dagoth (Dagon) and the Serpent-Men (Deep Ones). Shuma and Kathulos didn't have too much in common with their namesakes beyond being bizarre tentacle monsters, but Dagoth was basically Dagon and the story with the Serpent-Men was an extended Shadow Over Innsmouth pastiche.

I wouldn't say BB Hood was gimmicky, She was pretty solid just couldn't stand up too the god-tier too much.

I hope they can keep this game balanced while releasing DLC characters. I also hope they're going to know when to stop creating characters. A MvC game with 300 characters would be ridiculous

Meh. I'm thinking we'll probably get 6 or so DLC character, then Super MvC3 will be released with all the DLC characters and then some.

Omega Red is pretty unlikely, since he's been dead in the comics for a few years now, and hasn't really been relevant since the '90s. That said, there are several more prominent Marvel characters who could be brought into MvC3 with moves inspired by Omega Red's, like Dr. Octopus or Machine Man.
They should add Hulkling, because the game obviously needs more Hulk.
Hulkling is a skrull though!
A gay skrull no less!
That said, SHOW ME THOR'S LEVEL 3 DAMMIT! ROAR!
Hm. He has 3 level 1s just like hulk, so maybe he doesnt have one?
if you search for it on youtube it pops up in one of the guides seth killian was doing. or at least I'm pretty sure that was his level 3. mighty punisher or some such
I hadn't seen it anywhere else before though and I don't remember it being particularly exciting despite being a powerful command grab.

I know which one you're talking about, but there was no Level 3 chime on start up and it only took 1 bar. I'm pretty sure all the characters will have a level 3, so maybe one of his will get changed. I'm pretty sure Gamma Crush is Hulk's Level 3 these days.

In the Thor walkthrough video, they showed his lightning tornado attack, that super throw move, and that move where he shoots lightning along the ground.
And the dev said his level 3 just wasn't in the build they were playing.
Sure it may have changed, sense, but he sounds pretty sure Thor was getting one or already had one.
Regardless, it would suck if not all characters had an awesome over the top level three.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure what I'm thinking of was when they just revealed the Lvl. 3 supers, like when Iron Man did his. So super early on.
They just haven't said anything to confirm, but I'm thinking everyone should get one.
