Ive done all these as well. Iv'e been to Caesars camp, prompted the dialogue between us in which I told him I plan to kill Caesar and hours later still no quest. I'm on the 360, maybe its just fucked. I just want some enclave armour.

According to the Fallout Wiki, he's gonna talk to you near the end of the game, when you've chosen sides. (NCR or House) Or if you want it that bad, go to Deathclaw Promontory...
Found it! It would take very little work to get it up and running as a useable weapon, but since I never liked the dart gun, that's on some one else.
For the modder that's interested: I found it by searching "Dart" while having "All" selected on the object window. Spat out every asset needed, but you'd probably still have to pull the .nif's to make it a weapon, as right now it's not a weapon.

The nexus sites are a mess, the video ads strike me as a trojan factory, it's impossible to find a good mod in the sea of dicktittyboxmods, the rating system is completely screwed. Honestly, I use forums like this one, and No mutants allowed (those guys are as grognardy as it comes, and I appreciate that) as a kind of quality filter when I get around to finally modding my fallout.

There wasn't much in the way of armor, really. Just a couple combat armors/helmets. But it DID have, weapon-wise,
the All-American, which is the unique marksman carbine. Needless to say, this weapon is extremely fucking awesome. And then there were the grenade launchers, miniguns, assault carbines, C4 charges and detonators, a million submachine guns, ect.
edit - I really do need some more heavy-duty armor, though. I've been wearing regular combat armor forever, and even with all the damage threshold perks, it can feel a little flimsy.
AHEM, that first part is very much not true:
The armory in Vault 34 has the Vault 34 security armor, the highest-DT light armor in the game (16 fully repaired). That's one higher than basic combat armor, which is medium class (meaning it's 10 lbs heavier and you move more slowly with it on). The security armor also has a sell value of 70, meaning repairing it with an NPC is so cheap as to be almost free. And if you have the repair skill, it can be repaired with any combat armor; with jury rig, it can be repaired with pretty much any light armor in the entire game.
Its one drawback is that it breaks pretty quickly. A deathclaw will essentially tear the thing off your back. But it still served me DAMN well up until I got power armor.

Filefront's been pretty good to me in regards to STALKER and Terran Conflict, and I know there are a couple of other sites that're big on the Gamebryo modding scene but don't stoop to the levels of retardation Nexus has sunk to. Can't give names because I'm terrible with them, but I could find them quickly enough since a lot of the popular high-quality mods often mirror their stuff on them.
EDIT: Heh. Since we were talking about how a lot of legacy FO3 resources seem to be present in New Vegas, I wonder if they also left in the FO3 robot voices in the sound archive. It'd be pretty neat if you could mod some of those NUKA-COLA! Protectrons you find to use the old voice.

EDIT: Is it just me or does it seem the NV Geck' prone to crashing whenever you try to delete any changes you made? I'm trying to isolate some changes I made since the rest of it wasn't quite satisfactory and every time I try to delete the entries in the Details page and save it shits out immedietly.

Fellout/other camera filter mods always make me go "hmmm". I can never really tell if it looks "better", and sometimes I feel like I'm robbing myself of the experience Obsidian meant for me to have. I dunno.

the idea of installing game-changing mods before you've really even played the game seems kind of lol to me
Directly related to this point, I had to sort of laugh when someone mentioned a mod that made radiation sickness start at 50 rads and kill you at 300, and also made RadAway less potent.
I get where it might not seem so bad coming from Fallout 3, but then I just imagine them walking into Searchlight or Vault 34 and just dropping dead.

No, it's just a whole new station. It's got a bunch of red scare/nuclear-themed songs (many of them catchy as hell) and authentic "civil defense" PSA's from back in the day.
MTUI doesn't make a big change to the UI, it keeps the same look, just makes it easier to navigate without as much scrolling.

That's what I love about MTUI, it doesn't change the default UI look (which I am very used to now after years of first person Fallout), it just makes the fonts smaller and makes the PipBoy list more stuff. It also makes more conversation options available without scrolling.
(And I am installing that CONELRAD mod tonight, that sounds really neat. There is supposed to be a "More Where That Came From" port that brings the added GNR songs over to New Vegas Radio as well).

This is the mod that lets you play your own MP3's through the radio station interface, with all the perks that come along with it (like the music getting quieter when people are talking).

NMC's Full Texture Pack (makes the game look extremely pretty compared to the default shitty textures)
HDR Pipboy (high res texture for the Pipboy, much like the original, just higher res and weathered)
High Res Prewar Books (does what it says on the tin)
What's Your Brand (high res cigarettes and cartons)
Distant Gunfire Fix (fixed gunshots going suddenly very quiet after a certain distance)
MTUI (shrinks the font used in the UI, and enlarges the dialogue text box)

Anything automatic that you can spray while running backward.
They don't have any armor, so the low individual damage isn't a big deal.
Laser RCFs are a great, low weight means of handling cazedores.
Cowboy perk with Le Longue Carabine or Lucky works on just about everything. Till you get stuck by the reloading bug, then you die.
