    There's a mansion for sale in my area that has a room behind a secret door. If my person wants to buy me that house I would be so happy.

    I want a house where every room is behind a secret doorway. Burglars would break in and not know what the fuck is happening.

    Short answer is I reread the Dresden Files (all of them) when the new one came out and White Court is a house of vampires in it that use subversive methods to get what they want. They always operate behind cats paws and it's nigh impossible to trace anything they do back to them.

    I thought that might have been what you were getting at. It's been a few months since I reread the main series, so I wasn't sure. Which reminds me, I still need the book (or is it now books?) that has the little dresden files side story in it.
