Edit:The story is supposed to be good but after playing it, I can only assume that reviewers who said as much have had little experience of any other mediums of story telling than video games and that they have missed quite a few of the better ones of those.
Enslaved is a fun ride, and a lot about it is great, but everything about it (save the performances by the three leads) is tarnished in some way or another.

No true don't discourage people like that. I always thought that stalking is optional rather than mandatory. I think it's perfectly fine to send your Santee presents that are not necessarily in line with the stuff they usually get as long it's something you think they'd enjoy.

I always tell my Santa (via Doc) that if they can't figure out what I'd enjoy, get me something they'd enjoy. It's always neat to see other people's tastes, first-hand.
That said, I fuckin' love the stalking part of it - receive a perfect stranger and try to delight them with the perfect gift. There's something so... Christmassy about it.

If I, hypothetically, had no heart and soul, I'd force my Santee to play through the now-forgotten The Path in order to get their real present. Nothing tops a loli rape simulator in this category. Off now to, hypothetically of course, check the steam price.

Sounds ok to me. People should just check their sent messages again to make sure everything is right, and if they notice a mistake they can just send you an email with the corrections.

I wish I had the old EGM article with concept art and details of Core's grand plans for the game. Releasing the game, and then having support for downloadable story chapters using the PS2's network adapter and hard drive blew my mind when I first read about it. I thought it was going to be the best game ever.
I'm still a big fan of the Tomb Raider games, though (and Uncharted and Indiana Jones and anything else like that. I love me some ancient ruins and lost civilizations). The only one I don't own is Guardian of Light, but that will change after the PS3 gets the online patch.
