I am honestly amazed at how hard these folks are working on constantly improving this thing. For those who may not know, This is a mod for the Knights of the Old Republic 2: Sith Lords PC RPG. It restores a multiton of things that weren't able to be put into the game by the developers due to unrealistic demands by the publishers.
You need to have a clean install of the game, run the official patches (1.0b bug fixer then optional HQ music and movie patches), then run the 1.7 executable. Then any misc. mods you want to use. Heres a link to a thread showing all the known compatible mods: http://www.deadlystream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=248
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, our hero; cleverly disguised as a hard-boiled egg...

It isn't everything, no. IIRC, this is missing the Genoharadan content and some other stuff. But given that Team Gizka collapsed, this is the best you're likely to get.
Is there a list of what was added / changed / fixed?
There was. I had it bookmarked for whenever I got around to replaying the game, but apparently it's gone now.
Off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure the Genoharadan stuff was left out. Droid planet isn't in for a lot of reasons. I know nothing was done with Bao-Dur at the end of the game because there's not really any content to restore. Atris becoming Traya isn't in. I think most or all of the rest of the Malachor content is there, though, with your crew confronting Kreia and getting captured and everything. Pretty much all of the extra Ebon Hawk cutscenes made it back in. Droid factory is in, though I don't know if it's actually fleshed out anymore than what was on the disk. I don't remember what the decision was for the fight with the handmaidens near the end of the game, but I know something was done with it. I also don't remember what was done with the sequence where everyone thinks the Exile is dead. I don't think Sion visiting Nar Shaddaa is in.
That's all I can think of, but I remember the list of what did and didn't make it being pretty huge.
edit: Hey look at that post above this one. It's pretty handy.
Yeah I have to agree, I was super excited when this was released awhile back...then I played it.
I love me some KOTOR2, more so than the first, but the cut stuff almost detracted from everything else.
I will say the restored stuff at the end was ok. Everything else was just meh.

Ah... well at least its not like some kind of crazy ultimate version that if I never play I will regret until the day I die. Its really awesome something like this was made for the game though... but for now, I think I'll keep focused on my current backlog I.E. 95% of games i've ever bought

How cohesive is the content?

All right, people. It is not a gerbil. It is not a hamster. It is not a guinea pig. It is a death rabbit. Death. Rabbit. Say it with me, now.
Not that I mind. That game was the shit.

Do we have a cohesive list of what all was done, on the meaningful major thrust sort of angle?
Pretty sure I dropped my second play through before leaving to Malachor; guess I can see if I still have that save file and try out the changes.
(however their ads are not)

It's ok. It seems that a lot of the content was cut for pacing more than anything else.
