Using Controller in PC Games?

I have an SNES knock off controller for the PC (it's USB). It works under zsnes prefect. I can't get it working under a game called "Braid". It doesn't support controllers.

I heard there was a program that would map keyboard commands -> controller that would trick it into working?

    If I were you, I'd remove the reference to zsnes and not mention any emulators in future posts on this forum.
