Bloody Good Time, basically The Ship 2, out now on Steam and XBLA
"Congratulations, you’ve just been cast in your first slasher movie! You’ve been given your big break by the notorious Director X. His methods have produced some of the finest grindhouse films ever committed to celluloid. Famous faces and big names are not what this director is looking for."
It's basically The Ship, from the makers of The Ship.
Oh and the company (Outerlight Ltd.) went bankrupt making this game.
It's five bucks. I've never had more fun with a game I paid five bucks for.
The interface could be a lot better, and it has a few technical issues (though I've only personally run into one minor issue one time), but the game is just a ridiculous amount of fun when you approach it as a party murder game. Approaching it as a serious competitive game is just going to end with you frustrated because some dipshit killed you for no reason as you were about to murder your hunter and your quarry a the same time with an elaborate rube goldberg setup.
Revenge is probably my favorite mode since killing someone basically places you between them and advancement, so you can get a pretty decent rogue's gallery of dudes trying to take their shot at you after you get on a streak.
Edit: If you played The Ship and decided it was too long and slow, this is basically the zany arcade version.
I was kind of shunned away from it thinking it was a generic multiplayer shooter with a art style, but hearing that it's pretty much The Ship 2 made me pick it up right away.

But is anyone playing it in the normal gametype (you know, the way it's meant to be played etc. etc. not deathmatch)?
Tiny community is enough for me not to buy the game.

I looked on Live earlier and there was one game running in Hunt mode. No other games available.

Yeah, well, that's the price of making unique stuff instead of Medal of Call of Gears of War of Duty of Honor IV: Black Operator Forever 2.
I would consider picking this up if I wasn't fairly sure the community is likely dead right now and only getting deader.

Also, nobody's playing Ranked for some reason.
