I think it'll go well, depending on how EA does question updates (if any)

If they update the questions weekly/monthly for free, then charge a nominal fee for themed questions (movies, TV, sports, etc) then I think the game would be succesful.

If EA gets greedy and charges money for every single question update, then I'll be a little depressed

I had one of these games, but my friends never wanted to play it, because they remembered the questions being so obscure that they could play entire games without answering a single question correctly. Pretty sure they were wrong, since I remember there being a number of word association games that didn't require trivia knowledge, but they were never interested.

    Will there be online play?

My awesome method of screwing people over as a kid:

In the game, the announcer would read a question, then show the 4 answers, then read them off aloud. If the answer was a sound, the answers would read A: Sound 1. B: Sound 2. C: Sound 3. D: Sound 4. Obviously a sound was played for the answers.

Before the announcer could play the sounds, I'd buzz in and use the screw button on my opponent. Then they'd literally have to take a blind guess. Every once in awhile it would backfire, but more often than not, they would lose the points.

Did you ever try to buzz in too early to screw your neighbor and it forced you to answer the question with fake answers?

I actually vaguely remember that. I don't think it happened too often, but I remember it.

I also remember trying to put in swear words for my name and the game announcer would yell at me. I feel like it was Bill Murray (for the TV version)

    http://www.youdontknowjack.com/

It's only 7 questions but it throws in contemporary stuff with classic questions. The writing is sharp, the intro is funny, and overall it's fun. I'll be buying the shit out of this game.
