I need to play this with people online. 1 player trivia is pretty lame.
Bums me out that you can't take more than one local player online.
Me and my girlfriend are gonna be playin' YDKJ later, I'd love to be able to fill in the last two spots with folks.
So, if my husband and I both want to play online together with some friends, we can't?
1-2 people can jump and play against another 2 people if I remember correctly. I don't think you can have 3 people on one box jump online to play against 1 person, but maybe someone in the thread can verify this.
I haven't done more than 2 episodes because I want to play with more friends, but how does the unlock system work? Do you get 5 more for every 5 you play, or do you get more at once later on?
In a game where it's important that you play unique questions among friends, I think it's a huge mistake not to let you pick from any of them at the start. If I want to play some at my house and some at my friend's house, we have to futz around with save files, or else play episodes that I've already seen.
I don't think there will ever be a situation where there are still episodes locked but you've played all the unlocked ones.
I think you can always find a new unplayed episode, as long as some are still locked.

Not necessarily across different systems. One guy has played twenty, the other one. On the latter's console, they cannot play anything that one of them hasn't seen yet.

My wife and I played 10 episodes before going over to my friends' house, we took our saves on a memcard, and the game started from episode 11.

I wouldn't call it a glitch, but getting screwed and selecting the Wrong Answer of the Game will NOT have it count. During the Supreme Court Children's Vitamins episode, my buddy screwed me on the TMNT question. I knew it was vegetarian, but selected Supreme and just got my money, and the answer, taken away.

I saw that written down somewhere... maybe in the instructions for the game? You can't get the wrong answer of the game if you've been screwed.

I elected to get the Wii version as the Wii is a very portable console, and I already have four controllers for it. We even had a dinner/game party to go to that night.
I must say this was a fantastic idea. We really could only do 5 episodes before we moved on to some card games, but there was a *lot* of laughs.

I think you're the first person in the thread to get the Wii version. Is there anything about the DLC's on the beginning screen? I don't regret my decision to get the 360 version, but I'm curious about the Wii version.

I don't think there's any DLC for the Wii version. I have it... it's conspicuously 480p and the voice sounds just a tiny, tiny bit fuzzy but overall I'm happy with it. They didn't seem to skimp on anything (as far as I can tell). All the features are there, too bad about the DLC though. Nintendo really needs to catch up with this online shit. I'm tired of buying shittier versions of Rock Band and the like just because I don't feel like buying a PS3 for one or two games.
Well, I just got this for the PS3. Wifey and I played the first of the episodes while our kids watched. It was just as fun as I remember it being from back in the 90s.

What about the 480p is conspicuous? Isn't that the best the Wii can output?
Yeah, 480p is the best Wii can do. Some people can just notice that sort of thing really easily, it's slightly fuzzier/noticeably lower quality, but this is the one game where that doesn't really matter.
I have the Wii version too because again I've already got the controllers for it, and everyone I know also has Wiis, so I can take it around/lend it out. I saw the Giantbomb video and have played it a bit and I don't feel like I'm missing anything really.
also, the rare extended animations for the question intros make me so happy when they pop up. ive only seen the ones for two and six so far, anyone spotted any other ones? the one for six is so good.
There is an alternate for 10 as well but I won't spoil it for anyone. I was playing with 3 other people and none of them were looking at the screen when it happened so there were all staring at me while I laughed my ass off.

Either my eyes aren't great, or my TV isn't great (or maybe both!), but I've never thought that Wii games looked bad. Granted, I buy mostly first-party stuff and Nintendo usually puts out a high quality product, but some of my Wii stuff running at 480p, I think, looks nicer than some of my 360/PS3 stuff running at 720/1080p. Maybe it comes down to art style or whatever, but SMG2 is one of the prettiest games I've ever seen.

It's not entirely Nintendo's fault. The Wii can do free online play (Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter) and can even do DLC (some Rock Bands, MegaMans 9 and 10), but most developers don't/won't bother. I think the perception is that Wii owners are more biased towards local multiplayer while PS360 owners are more biased toward online play.

Yeah, it is. It's one of those rare ones that pop up occasionally. It's graveyard-themed.

Afterward I guessed that maybe it was the pez dispenser question. Pez = children's vitamins, number = number of supreme court justices.

That's what it sounds like but I didn't want to assume because that's kind of awkwardly written.
Just before that they say something like "...and pickin' out mates."
But it is clearly a prison yard so they might be saying "inmates."
