    Nah people don't Thor drop in TvT on LT, just TvZ :P

    Mostly due to people not FEing as T (generally?)

    It was OK yes but a drop in the main would have done a lot more, as well as possibly not even losing anything (stim, take out buildings, medic awaaaaay)

    You convinced me to test it. :P

    You're right, you can barely detect a Banshee with a single centrally-placed Cannon (mineral line on LT is 11 units wide, for reference). However, it doesn't protect the Assimilators (possibly not Probes mining gas, either).

    I'm going to try learning terran this weekend.
    whats a good standard opener for Terran...ie the equivalent of the standard Protoss - 12gate, 15 gas, 16 pylon, 17 cyber core, 2nd gas?

    10 depot, 12 rax, 13 gas, 15 orbital lets you continually produce SCVs.

    I've been doing the 2 rax expand no gas opening and as long as there's not horribly early aggression it's pretty good, especially in tvt.
