I was only half watching the socke games as I had my brother over for a while.

Am I wrong in assuming PFs literally won the first game, and helped amazingly in game 2?

And Void rays are nice until the terran builds 10 marines and stims, or a few turrets.

    Socke way outplayed Jinro there.

    And lost.

Mostly because it's impossible to kill PFs.

    Blargl.
Like hell he did, he was smart to do harass constantly through the game but he didn't do very well in the actual battles. Jinro's splitting small groups to force storms and using scans to emp, plus that very nice tank lifting to contain and frequent nukes was way better than anything Socke did. Plus Socke was far far too late at getting up the island expo and threw his army away trying to break into Jinro's base.

Yeah, the sweet small group movement and the nuking were what won that.

Jinro was not "way outplayed" Socke built bunch of Zealots and Templars, Jinro microed around storms really well, and then Socke tried to kill tanks and PFs with units that tanks and PFs are good at killing.

I don't get why you would ever not play grid.

Other then that you already have all the hot keys committed to muscle memory.

well, a large amount of the hotkeys make sense, ie (s)cv, (b)uild (s)upply depot

i dont really ever look at the bottom right unless im learning the hotkeys for the first time

    like

i could look at it, but my fingers would still be confused as to where to go
