Whenever a P or Z bitches about T being over powered it's always stfu the T player obviously had better control and was a better player. In this game. Nazgul had CLEAR better micro and won and now P is stupid bs omg op.
Literally no one has said P is OP or BS. I said that those games were bullshit.
Though that Xel'Naga thing should be fixed, there's no way that was intended.
The bullshitty thing was that it was clearly his only play. He makes blink stalkers, controls them with godly precision, probably because that's like, 99% of what he does, and hopes his opponent makes roaches instead of Hydras. The same all-in every match? Not a fan.
I think its funny how you guys get upset that Nazghul used the same strat in all three same games against a player that is like, famous for doing the same macro heavy style of play every single game. :P
It's annoying because Nazghul's strat is an all-in. He didn't expand in any of the games. If he can't win with his blink stalker push, he basically automatically loses the game.
IdrA's strat, on the other hand, is a generic super heavy macro style that allows for lots of adaptation.
Doing heavy pressure all ins against a player that is known to sacrifice early defense for amazing macro is just smart to me.
You don't play intentionally to your opponents strengths.

I think Idra should have back away once he saw that Nazgul's block off his base... and try to knock back door keep him at one base while expanding and just macro like crazy.
By the way, what Idra REALLY fucked up was his attack. As long as there was a wall Nazgul couldn't attack since he'd have to put blink on CD to do so. He should have whittled all the buildings down to low hp, then contain while getting lair and then hydras instead of allowing Nazgul to move out and use his great micro. Then he could kill both gates after keeping them low and retreat with a huge advantage.'
Instead he broke through before even starting lair, terrible decision.
I was cautiously optimistic about HuK in korea, but it's rather clear he won't make a spash for a long time now. Might be able to get into GSL sometime next year if he sticks at it, will see though.
Uh, HuK wasn't ahead ever, apart from possibly when he put up the proxypylon. Then ret got a twice as large army, and HuK helped him that by being an idiot and giving away his stalkers.

He's still really young so if he keeps with it I can see him doing very very well. I remember back in the beta he was favored for a super strong one base style and I remember thinking it would hinder him the further the game progressed.
I wish they'd keep showing TvZ, it really is the most enjoyable matchup to see.
Protoss getting completely rolled isn't helping either, not very enjoyable games when it appears there aren't any good ones (according to y'all terran/zerg heroes).

It's so depressing to watch good players lose to all-ins that have no future if they don't succeed.
The Protoss race as a whole doesn't really know what the hell to do in PvZ anymore, which is why you see Protosses alternate between all-ins and getting rolled. Roach 4 range really messed with everyone's heads.
The sides are well balanced enough that honestly I think for the most part winning is determined by peoples individual skill.
And at the level that all of us are playing at its obviously player ability deciding the matches.
it's not necessarily the case that higher skill corresponds to more or less balance. Blizzard's win statistics per league suggest otherwise. Imagine that X is hard to do, but it's a powerful technique. Low-skilled players will experience a game balance where the race with X seems less powerful than it does to high-skilled players. In the absence of other variables, at least one of those groups will have unbalanced games.
blink stalkers? hello? it's not just all in stalkers either since you can always pull a go kill his whole fucking base cause mutas ain't shit against offensive stalkers.
I don't know why p complains about mutaling considering how shitty it is against basic gateway units.

Such an abusable map, even though this was Idras own fault for not countering the strat he saw a bunch of times.

...except to all ins apparently.

If I were Idra, I'd feel honored.
And HuK will get rolled, his PvZ is by far his worst matchup, and ret is a beast.
That's actually kind of flattering.

He was very professional.

It's so cool to watch someone make all the right decisions at 200 APM.

worth the price of admission alone 8-)
3clipse, I'd call that a calculated gamble more than a garbage all-in. He read HuK well and just barely out-micro'd him.
edit: glad to see ret is still a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeast
Fucking well-kept secret there.
I am always disappointed when he's not dancing around in a ridiculous outfit like some combination of Willy Wonka, the Mad Hatter, and the Joker.
