Eh, it's a lot faster than you might think. We completely cleared AQ20 in about an hour and fifteen minutes. You can have a pally tank most of the mobs and just AoE everything down. We AoE'd Rajaxx's waves down like it was nothing. We didn't even have a mana drain for Moam. He exploded like 3 times, but it only does 4k damage to everyone, so no big deal.
I'd still love to try Hakkar with one priest unkilled.
I think you'd have to take down arlokk for the gouge, and thekal(I think this is an enrage or something). I forget what Jeklik's ability is, but I bet Venoxis could be skipped, it just gives Hakkar a poison.

Jeklik adds a rather long aoe silence... probably not skippable.
Well, we didn't have enough people to raid mags... So on a whim, we went to AQ40. I had never been before, had no idea what it looked like. We ended up with a lot of pug-types, eventually had almost 40 people. Anyways, using the tried and true "zerg" strategy, relying on our superior levels and gear, we rushed through AQ40. As far as emps. After a couple of wipes "what do you mean we got to run around", we gave up, it was getting late. Maybe next week; also, we'll be more discriminating on who we take.

Great fight. Once you get the strategy down it is one of the most fun boss fights imo.
Yep, hence the lack of a kill-shot for them. Just seems all about control over them, once we get that down, should be no problemo. Also, since we took anyone 60+ inside, some people even got usable upgrades.
Well you should lol your way through the DPS and tank requirements, but the movement will screw you hard with the autoaggro unless you can drill it into people.
I still hold Twin Emps as the best encounter in pre-TBC I actually did. It was hard, but 100% fair (Well 95%, the -100defense strike was just there to force random crits to give your healers a hard time).
Pre-C'thun trash will require some movement too, but with superior DPS you will burn through it once you figure it out. C'thun itself..... well maybe not so easy.
I'm the only one in my guild who's beaten C'thun (some of them have beaten twim emps I believe), I want them all to experience the fight, but getting a raid together for that is probably never happening.
I think everyone should go back and do stuff they didn't get to do. Naxx is also fun as hell. In fact, I quit wow the fall before burning crusade came out, so I missed out on the second half of that dungeon too.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned. It continued falling into that starry expanse, of which I had only a fleeting glimpse. I have tried to speculate where it might have landed, but I must admit that such a conjecture is futile. Still, questions about whose hands might one day hold my Myst book are unsettling to me. I know my apprehensions might never be allayed, and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written...

It's not all about the difficulty, but some instances have a lot of trash and it's just added time if you're there for nothing but fighting a boss.
