How did you achieve that handwriting? It's gorgeous.
When it comes to notes, I get a little obsessive...I've torn out pages if the handwriting's too messy. Suffice it
to say, I've developed my handwriting over a long period (looked very different even two years ago), always practicing/changing.
So here's a very quick thing I did, just trying to get an idea on paper...basically my thoughts on how I'd like to do a Modern Times poster. Nothing about the sketch is concrete...I just really like the idea of Chaplin inside the machine, head & arms poking out of spaces between the gears/wheels/etc, nonchalantly sipping coffee/smoking/both.
Alright I've just done a quick alternate version--I'm worried that the first plays down the Machine, which I'd like instead to have a dwarfing effect on Chaplin.
I much prefer this one, really want the focus to be on the complexity of the Machine (detailed gears, wheels, moving parts), with the figure hanging from its bowels having a cigarette or something.
Also, can't do what's in my head justice right now on account of I'm without watercolor, Photoshop or anything to properly shade/color, but the Machine would be varying levels of dark and the figure would be paler, almost glowing at its center.

I'd like to see something more finished, too!
i want to read books in your handwriting
As a side project I'm thinking of doing a series of movie and/or book posters, I'll probably be starting the first one today. Any requests?
I've been thinking Modern Times, El Topo, Blood Meridian...
As far as book posters I think Lord of the Flies would be cool.

Very quick self-portrait, < 30min, just to get a feel for the tablet. It's been a few months:
