I was at mobygames looking at the best games by year by console, and resistance fall of man made their top rated game of 2006...
so i kept browsing, and was impressed by how many pretty good games are often slashed in price over and over again.
Feel free to add, maybe a nice reminder for some people who arent avid die hard gamers and want to pick some stuff up:
Brutal Legend
- Multi platform, i bought this for $5.99 from a store called buybacks
Resistance: Fall of man
- Ps3... is this good? i havent played it and the same gamestore wants $20.99 for it, that seems high as gamestop online is $12.99
God of War Collection:
- Ps3, two games for $24.99 at gamestop
Street Fighter 4:
- Multi platform. Its street fighter.
... any more anyone want to add?

best $20 you will ever spend. even if you're starving to death and the only meal within 5,000 miles costs exactly $20.
This man right here
speaks the truth
Edit: Now that I think of it, I was able to get Mad World for 6 bucks like a month ago. That was such a good deal for a great game.
Sacrifice is Brutal Legend's PC ancestor. Grab that there.
Picked up little big planet goty edition today for $17.99.
If there is a store called "buybacks" near you, they have amazing deals.

I think Wii's New Play Control! version of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat can be found at good prices, too, and maybe Pikmin.
Like Mega Man Legends? Then check out my story, Legends of the Halcyon Era - An Adventure in the World of Mega Man Legends on TMMN and AO3!
so true....worth every dollar.
And, of course, Earth Defense Force.
and the church threatening sony with a lawsuit.
and your Prime Minister talking about it in Parliament.
All that stuff helped.
I played the demo and hated it. shooters have to be really good to grab my attention now a days.

Pretty sure that all happened post release.
You can get it on Steam now too, which I think is neat.

I love that game in a way that some may raise an eyebrow at.
All right, people. It is not a gerbil. It is not a hamster. It is not a guinea pig. It is a death rabbit. Death. Rabbit. Say it with me, now.
Also. Buy Mirror's Edge.
(One Unit Whole) Blood
Descent 1 & 2
Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition
Shogo: Mobile Armor Division*
These are some of the best FPS that the genre has ever produced. Marvel at the lost art of kickass level design! Experience the satisfaction of being able to carry a loadout larger than Ahnold's after he robs the gunshop in Commando! Discover the adrenaline charging feature of non-regenerating health! Crave the exhilaration of braving the enemies hail of weapons fire with out a cover system! Be creative! Dodge! Jump! Run at the speeds of a Formula One race car! To paraphrase a recent games unofficial moto, reality can go fuck itself.
*Also, Monolith, get the fuck on a sequel to SHOGO, and like do it fucking yesterday. And get on getting No One Lives Forever 1 & 2 and Contract Jack in the GoG store. I need those games because you were stupid and didn't market them well enough at me and oh my god why didn't I play those when I had the chance I'm so sorry please help
Also, Castle Shikigami III on the Wii is $10 everywhere. More bullet hell than you could ever want.
