Primer was fucking stupid, making your movie impossible to figure out is not clever. And it had the most boring dialogue in the world. The only movie more incredibly boring was The Sixth Sense. At least, with all their lack of experience, Primer was trying to make a movie. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FUCKING HAPPENED in The Sixth Sense.

Having read the book before I was expecting all three
They whole thing just dragged on like nuts
everyone in the room had started fidgeting and checking the time before they even launched the Jupiter mission
This could be considered a failing of the modern youth attention span as much as anything. I hated 2001 the first time I saw it, early on in college. Now, I love it and wouldn't change the pacing for the world.
how up your ass do you have to be to make a post like this?

You're not supposed to figure out the tangled mess of the plot. That's kind of the point.

There are actually a lot of good movies where "nothing" happens

Sixth Sense was a good movie.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

No, the plot is pretty clear. There's just one particular aspect that's supposed to be inscrutable.

I like Unbreakable quite a bit, sure some of it's descents into melodrama are a little tough to take but I think it's a more complete film than The Sixth Sense, which dosen't really stand up to repeat viewings.

My favorite Gilliam movie will always be Time Bandits.
I'm trying to finish Mondo Cane right now, but I can only handle about 15 minutes of the narrator's stupid smug tone at a time. If I'm going to watch a bunch of sensationalist exploitative bullshit anthropology just, please, don't talk.

I had a hunch.

Speed Racer's Friend:
Don't believe his terrible opinions
I blame the internet.
I had to sit through Machine Girl.
This dude came into my room when I was trying to sleep and watched it.
I was eye raped.
I can't even
like your brain literally cannot understand that that movie is happening when you watch it
The terrible things I find do not come from 4chan
They don't post things as bad as the things I find.
Well except for when I saw the guy poop on a baby.
hm
that sure is a thing
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
Four chan is the gateway drug to harder internets.
Bryar this is an intervention.
I try to be a good role model, really I do
but at least we're a more wretched one

It wasn't about being clever. It was about making the audience feel what the characters were feeling.
In this case, confusion.
but it was a decent movie
about the only good one Shyamalan had in him
I dunno though I haven't seen Unbreakable and I've heard mixed things about it

Sixth Sense was a good movie.
Doom Generation is a solid comedy until the last scene.
Took my like a half hour to realize they were narrating their inner monologues.

Mind you I didn't think it was good, just not....unbearable.
Which makes no sense because he makes exactly the types of films I love
go and watch Erik the Viking.
it is five star first class
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
I just added this to a Netflix queue that's already like 4 months long, but maybe I'll fast track it.

also adventures of baron munchausen and imaginarium of doctor parnassus
which, incidentally
was starring a girl who looks exactly like one of those "ones who got away" for me
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
At which point Abe just says "fuck it I'm destroying these things"
like isn't there a montage of sorts of them constantly going back to stop each other from stopping each other
I'm assuming the inscrutable part you're referring to is what happened that made the other guy use the machine?

It is a sci fi movie but it has Tom Sellek on the cover.
I just can't get my head around it.
please tell me i am not the only one who has seen this movie
