You didn't make an Infinity Edge? Crits + AP hurt everyone a lot. IE + Madreds should shred any tank who comes close to you.
Frankly if your team is any good you shouldn't need a Frozen Mallet on Trist, at least not until you have all your damage items. She has great escapes and your tanks should be taking hits not you.
I just couldn't even touch Udyr, literally he just stood there and soloed a tower while I used all my abilities on him, I even jumped in and ulted him back to get more shots and he still lived. He couldn't hurt me at all really but it was very annoying.

I followed reginalds guide exactly, his build and his video and I am getting fucking pooped on by kat in mid. What the fuck do I do? I get her to 1/5 hp and she just teleports to me and inst gibbs me without ult.
God damnit its like no matter what I do there is some counter hero to me, she tower dove me and killed me again with 1/3 hp.
Yeah, Kat is a pain in middle. The thing is Kat in middle has to count on you be scared. So if she shunpo's on you, the correct response isn't to run but to just start smacking her back. But she's hella hard, as are Kennen and vlad. A really good Kennen totally shut me down in middle yesterday because he just kept stunning the shit out of me and zoning me out of creep range. It was super frustrating.
last night i played one last game of TT before bed. team was teemo and olaf, so i took WW, to give me some extra carry power.
we got wiped out pre creeps. they were sion, udyr, trynd. the teemo was shit. started with amp tome and a nice 420 health or some shit, he got killed like 5 times in lane because sion sneezed at him. olaf was just as squishy somehow.
despite all this, i got my farm, my items, and controlled dragon/liz most of the time (i think we got every dragon), and we pushed when we had the chance. in the end we won and i bought gangplank.
what do you guys think, is ap teemo a shit character on TT? after seeing one there, i still think so. he had one brilliant moment where he kited 2 people through like, 10 shrooms. they were raging. but overall he was very useful. i felt like i worked my ass off for that win.
we were lucky that they really weren't all that good. speaking of which, are they majority of people just not that good at TT? i know that i pick top tier TT champs, but those are actually the champs i like to play. i ask because i rarely lose on TT right now, i carry games with udyr, WW, even malphite. sometimes i run into a team that totally shits on me though, and my teammates are ususally mostly useless in the grand scheme. not that it matters, i like that if i want to play a game of TT, it is almost a sure win. except a damn morg/mundo duo queue. fuck that.

Feldorn, I LOVE 3V3. I think Nidalee would be a really good character on that map as well since she has such great move speed and map awareness without having to buy wards. I had been playing Sivir a lot on 3v3 which worked well since her Q does a lot of damage early. She only really works well when your teammates have some kind of CC though. I would love to play a 3v3 if you're down

Udyr's lategame can get pretty absurd. The key is to marginalize him earlier in the game; but honestly I'm going to have to say that a well-played Udyr is gonna wreck some shit regardless. You won't be able to 1v1 him very reliably against him if he's gotten fed late game unless your champ is also a fed offtank. I feel like him and Morde are very similar regarding their team role, which is to be a general unkillable d-bag with some strong killing power of their own.
As Trist, your early game should be completely based around farming as much gold as you can so that when the late game does come, you'll be prepared and ready with a fully farmed set of dps items [Madred's, Last Whisper, Infinity Edge, Boots, either Black Cleaver or Bloodthirster]. Of course, none of this will help you if your team just feeds the crap out of the enemy.

Depends on how much armor the other team has. Last Whisper is only worth it over other items once they start buying armor items. If you're being forced to attack tanks a lot, obviously it's worth getting, if you're being allowed to prey on squishies, runes/masteries/flat armor pen items (like Ghostblade or Stark's) are enough to get them down near zero.

So basically I had a choice. They were already stacking HP, and armor. So instead of going IE, I decided to go Black Cleaver to get through the armor and so that other people on the team could beat up them too. And I got the mallet more to keep people from running and for the slow than for any special need for health.
Edit: I can see going LW and have got it on her before, but at that point in the game I didn't have a BF sword yet and decided I needed the BF and the armor pen ASAP...

As Bagel pointed out, Udyr also gets some of the best Armor & MR per level in the game. His passive is also pretty amazing. The only thing that hurts Udyr is mana. But that is easily fixed.
I also really liked the idea of a sheen on him, but now it's your AP as the added dmg right? Not so good anymore.

So I saw we had an Ashe last night that launched an arrow from out fountain to their second mid tower, froze the guy beating on our tristana while teleporting to tristana with the arrow in mid air. Shit was wrecked.

Hey Spectrum. Hey! That Sona build you have posted is fun. Went 9/4/15 last night with her, and got every item except for the Infinity Edge (other team resigned when I was 200g away). I must say, early game plays the same "ho hum" support, and late game carry squishies expect you to just die when targeted, and not turn around and kill them. I had a blast with it.
I still think she shouldn't put out that type of damage, but fuck that. It was fun to surprise the hell out of the enemy team.

Trist is a ranged carry. A ranged carry with more range than any other ranged carry. You don't need another slow besides red buff. Your tanks or melee dps should have Randuin's or a Frozen Mallet. Trist needs to focus on doing as much damage as possible. Your damage was weak vs their tank heavy team because you took a very expensive health item that happens to have a slow on it.
You also have a slow when you jump on dudes. Jumping on a group of guys when one is almost dead then jumping out and wailing on the slowed dudes is super fun.

Totally unrelated - I'm serious when I say that Karthus has his ult, and he's stopping attacking every once in a while to look at health totals, that you should back off if you get lower than half health in a lane.

wriggles, randuins, tabi/merc you are now a crazy tank. on TT you will be able to take a beating from all 3 enemies. unless they have an AP champ. on SR, you can ignore one champ with this setup. after this, go for damage or locket.
