Since an active tome makes a named kill drop a 200xp pouch, I don't think that's going to be much of a grind. That and I'll get a dummy 2P in to passively increase a side character about 1000xp per run. Haven't really put too much thought into those achievements yet though. I mean, I think I have one or two stages cleared on Chaos now... but they were only like 1 "star" scenarios.
For Chaos clear, I'll likely end up using Yue Ying (and hopefully) an ice bow with at least true musou, flash, and preferably arrow sight for my chaos runs. and probably just boss rush whenever I can. I have SSX at level 50 already since I used her to quick farm (shotgun arrow wins) other chars so I can get through their musous faster, but YY has always been a favorite char of mine.
If all goes well I anticipate wrapping this up by next week so I can go back and retro-clear Lost Planet 1, lol...
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
yea, I know it doesn't. I'm playing it pretty much like the throwing knives in DW7
edit: if I can get enough room to time her hold y attack, in my experience it's done a fair bit of damage, then just break into a roll. rinse, repeat. just relying heavily on the flash chance. also opted for the "skill" bow as well.

So I started playing SB3 and it's pretty fun
Though I am perturbed by the unique NPCs
I want to play as them
Can't they just make a Super Edition and include them plus the characters removed from SB1/2?

Yea, SSX + Horse instead of running seemed to work a lot better than rolling a lot. Just need to get a better horse.
Chang Ban on the Liu Bei side will be rather interesting though.
edit: yep. cleared Wu Zhang Plains (Wei) on Chaos in less than 5 minutes with SSX and Auburn King. Got a damn near a 1 shot KO on Liu Bei up close too. but there's still a lot more other stuff to handle though.

So I heard that the stage Sekigahara- Intrusion(?) is the best one for grinding levels.
Whose story mode unlocks this for Quick Battle?
Also, I got a Night Hands Reforged for Oichi that's 100 power with six slots. Isn't this one of her top-tier weapons? I thought they only dropped on Hard, and I got it for defeating Nobunaga on Normal. (My nephew got a similar weapon for Mitsunari on his second playthrough of his story mode, choosing the new route that opened up.)
So I'm using Tetorigawa (Maeda Toshiie and Matsu) for weapon farming. If anyone has a better recommendation, please let me know.
Now I'm trying to break the 10k combo barrier in Sekigahara: Intrusion, using Magoichi. I got to about 8200 before it broke though I'm not sure why. Any tips for doing this?
I refuse to do the last two achivements in that game. Max everyone at 50? All missions on Chaos? SCREW THAT.
Chaos is only possible with like, two characters. Not 2P, only two people can probably do well on Chaos.
Solo'd all the levels on Chaos, primarily with Yue Ying after I got her leveled instead of SSX... only exception was Hu Lao gate because Lu Bu is suicidally dumb and that level has way too many officers that you have to fight twice. Really when I think back, Yi Ling was the only real problem stage, and once I played the level to the script instead of trying to boss rush, it wasn't.

Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends (PS3)
Samurai Warriors 3Z/XL (PS3/WII) - Even though SW3 was Wii, the Z release was PS3. Nevermind that it also didn't make it to the states.
Samurai Warriors 3: Empires (PS3)
based off the official page for the Saint Seiya Game, it's also PS3 only.
There's a leaked picture of that countdown page too on Koei Warriors's page... whatever it is (likely One Piece), it's also going to be PS3 only.

and as somebody who buys the DLC from the warriors games on XBL even though I don't even play DW7 or DWG3 atm—just to help support KOEI—I can only take this as an indication that they don't want my monies, lol. ;p

man I'm playing Samurai Warriors Chronicles on the DS and it's kind of ridiculous as fuck. every 2 seconds a new mission comes up and it's like, you have 30 seconds to complete this. all whilst any character I'm not controlling gets stomped into the ground no matter where I tell them to go.
Ok, some more SB3 help, please. What's the best strategy to use for hunting down fugitives? (Obviously having Hanzo as an ally is key, but I mean more like which stages are easily repeatable for them, etc.)
I'd actually buy extreme legends, but I can't, as I don't have 499 US dollars to spend on one game. DW 7 is the only console game I bought this year and it was really good, lack of free mode aside (this is actually a huge thing).
You can only get on fugitive per stage for each character.
I realize this. I guess what I mean is, what three stages (since there are three stat ups fugitives can drop) would you recommend to hunt fugitives in? So, say for attack, what's the best stage for that? Same for defense and luck.
And how do you tell when your stat is maxed?
And what's the best way to fight them? I notice they like to block/parry a lot, and can get away (escape) even while I'm fighting them.

It's not too bad once you get used to it, you just have to be on top of shit. The only really *difficult* thing is certain areas where the enemies are buffed, because their health bars are five miles long and everything kills you in four hits. There's an easier way to cheese out of that too, with your gun though.
Keep in mind a lot of times the missions have no specific time limits, and there's always one character near the mission either way, so you pretty much have to switch, kill, then switch back.

Mainly because you take 2 hits and you are dead. Lu Bu and Gan Ning are the only ones I've been able to beat Chaos with.

I posted a video earlier in the thread. Capcom are doing that, but I really doubt it'll get out of Japan.
Unless there are more they didn't show
And that doesn't include the dead characters! RARARAR

Their website had a lot of ?'s which leads me to believe there will be more characters added.
I'm hoping for Kasuga. :winky:
I'm betting on more though.

I can also see why they say it's the best place to grind. >.>;
Now I just need to unlock Tadakatsu and Nobunaga.

But now Im absolutely sure that one piece is my other favorite thing.

I'll buy the shit out of that if it comes out stateside!

The easiest way to fight them is to either: Boost/Hero Time right next to them to break their guard or use a Basara to break their guard.
