I don't think I ever saw the answer to this. If all four votes are tallied from day one, we could have a very short voting period for the 3 AM and 9 AM votes.

Yeah. My understanding was that the days have to end before they show upon the narrative. I THINK if the game starts at 9pm, the narrative next day at 9pm will only have one set of results. But the next narrative will have the results of four days. But I am only guessing here.
Rend is the host and I'm sure it will be clear once role pms and official game start is posted.

Votes will not be tallied at the end of each in-game day, for the sake of Rend's sanity and schedule. Instead, votes will be tallied every 24 hours, as usual.
However, where this game differs from usual is the fact that multiple in-game days will be taking place simultaneously, overlapping each other. A new in-game day will begin every 6 hours.
In this image, the circles with numbers represent vote tallies, which will take place at the end of days 1, 5, and 9. As you can see, the first vote tally (circled 1) will include only the results of Day 1, because it will be the only in-game day to have finished by that time. However, by the time Day 5 ends 24 hours later and the 2nd vote tally (circle 2) takes place, Days 2-4 will also have ended, and so their votes will be counted at the same time as Day 5's votes.
Whenever you vote, your vote will count for all ongoing days. This means that if you vote in the first 6 hours of Day 5, it will also count as your vote for Days 2-4, as they will not have ended yet.
