I went downstairs with the intention of sneak headshotting one of the guys, but I got completely distracted, and ended up traveling around selling stuff, saving that guy's brahmin from the crazy nightkin in Novac, and hunting fire geckos so I could get the 300 more XP I needed to hit level 18.
Lucky (my character) is kind of a "can't we all just team up and kick the Legion's ass" kind of guy, so I don't want to lose any rep with NCR.
Does NV have less random encounters than FO3? I am not running into as many. FO3 had some really good ones, like the chance of Outcasts fighting Raiders and Super Mutants at the same time around that one house, and usually winning, or that one intersection with the Enclave Outpost being raided by bears and Slavers.
I haven't found much of that sort of thing in NV.
Also, Cass is awesome. I went looking for the aliens and their blaster. I find them pretty easily, they start shooting with the blaster and tri-beam laser rifles. Cass yells for a stim pack, then runs at the Captain with a rebar club. She knocks his head off, grabs the blaster, and ashes one of the aliens, I kill the other one with my cowboy carbine.
She's as much of a badass as Boone. Although Boone was once so badass he crashed my game. I gave him The Chopper, and he killed three Freeside thug guys so fast my game crashed.
Don't see anything special about it, other than the look, which is very cool granted.. but Combat Armor Reinforced MkII has the same DT but is lighter and has more health.
T51b still ownz..
Though to be honest I've spent most of the game wearing Roving Trader suit (+5 barter) just because you run a lot faster in light armor and I carry it around for buying/selling stuff. (Along with my Recon beret and Authority Shades)...

That's on my list of things to get, I was headed up to try to get that unique spiked knuckle, but the stupid flying swarms of death stopped me pretty quickly.

I am going to punch things to death with this character, that is my goal, many things will be punched.
Unfortunately Cazadors don't agree with this philosophy.
What you need is a ballistic fist. Go make friends with the Brotherhood and then buy it from them.
brotherhood quests are not easy at lvl 5
I think even if you just grab Veronica to get you in and accept the loyalty quest they open their armory, at least as far as the Fist

Ran into my first frustrating glitch.
I was doing some exploring, finding new locales and such, had found about 10 places, was feeling good. Tried climbing up a hill and got stuck in a rock in the middle of a jump animation that kept looping. Couldn't do damage to myself, couldn't fast-travel because it won't let you while you are falling for jumping, and couldn't move.
Lost about 45 minutes of gameplay

On a non-PC I'm guessing? Because with the magic of the console you should just be able to noclip your way to safety.

Can anyone explain why things like Coyote Hides have no weight, while Empty Syringes weigh 1.0?
Also, why the hell is energy weapon ammo so much heavier than bullets? It seems like it should be exactly the opposite.

More importantly, he will provide free repair services, which can be used to keep your gear in shape as well as repair gear before you sell it, earning you significantly more caps.
You can play Caravan I guess, it's supposed to be pretty good money vs the right people If you can figure out how the fuck to play it which they don't tell you...
