there I knew you'd doctor that up to make it look like my fault.
but here it is, you share the liability in that for intentionally going 3 wide into that turn, in my blind spot, while we're in vehicles where it's a miracle when you don't torque oversteer, while I'm trying to not hit the guy who is already in the outside.
with clowns to the left of me, and jokers to the right, there I was, stuck in the middle with you.
I can't tell if you're being serious or not. Sizequeen was way in front of you and I was way to your left. While I was driving in a straight line, completely stable, you came left to avoid Sizequeen even though he wasnt even on the track and then just jerked left right into me or no apparent reason.

the doctored up part is a joke.
if by "way in front" you mean barely 1/3 a car's length.
if by "wasn't even on the track" you mean "was rapidly coming back on the track; into the space you would be occupying in mere moments"
look at where I was on the road at 0:03 and then where Size was at 0:07 and tell me I didn't have to avoid him.
now look at 0:04 where I clearly stopped turning the wheel and then re-read my first reply.
Finally watch where the skidmarks originate at 0:13 that's my acceleration causing oversteer, also note that while I'm sliding into you my wheels are turned in the opposite direction, trying to return to the center of the road. I'm not saying I'm not guilty of oversteer. The oversteering was my fault.
I'm saying that you're liable for entering the turn three wide intentionally. In my blind spot. Without warning me that you were planning on overtaking or at least even warning me which side you were on. If you wanted to overtake safely you could have waited until after the turn, but instead you took the risky approach to passing and in this instance it didn't pan out so well. Wasn't there an event in the next race where someone else narrowly missed causing a massive accident because they whipped out in front of someone unexpectedly on the inside of a turn?
In the link earlier, I swear they mentioned "partnered with Top Gear USA". Please tell me they didn't say that whole "USA" part at the end? They didn't really say that did they? Who would say such a thing?

Top gear USA needs some further time to fully get in swing, yes, but I don't think it deserves a lot of the hate it gets. At least Top Gear USA's best episode is better than some of the more crappy Top Gear UK episodes.
Acid, bast, looking at that video there is no one person that is mostly at fault, EVERYONE featured in that video is at fault. Bast is at fault for jumping on the outside of an "out of control" car in an area where jumping to the outside (or inside) is a Very Bad Move (tm). Acid is at fault for losing control of his car by-way of torque oversteer. And Size is at fault for being in the video.

Top Gear USA is pure shit, everyone likes something I suppose. But damn, it would help if any of the 3 hosts had an ounce of personality. All 3 of them are like the guys you see for the "semi-annual toyota-thon" commercials. Totally lifeless... It doesn't help that they literally try to 'act out' episodes that have already aired, and they don't act so goodly. Maybe if they just let them ad-lib and get some kind of chemistry going it might be entertaining. But I kinda doubt it.
But it being a partnership with both franchises is good news!

By the by, what I suggested in the 'other' bracket for LCE in-game suggestions:
Discounts on DLC (car or track packs)
Exclusive mod parts (body kits, spoilers, rims)
Ability to 'import forward' a number of cars from Forza 3 garage
And packaged suggestions:
The thumb drive from F3 was great - just give us a bigger, faster one that can be used as storage.
A small RC car would be preferable to a 'model car', even if this increased the price.
Honestly, the price question confuses me. $XX and up? What? Technically the cheapest value still includes all other values suggested ... But otherwise, at least it's an indication of what they're considering for F4. I guess this means I WILL have to finish up 3 sooner than later ...

I would love to see them put out a Forza 4 package that comes with a really, really high end racing wheel. Like a Forza branded Logitech G27. Yes I know it would be like a 300+ dollar package, but it would mean two things:
I had a Forza branded G27. And the G27 worked on the 360, which it currently does not, which is a god damn shame, because it's leaps and bounds better than any 360 compatible wheel I've seen yet (I would love to be proven wrong on that point).
In fact, the reason I mostly do iRacing now on my PC rather than play Forza is because of the G27 I am borrowing from a friend.
So I'm officialy switching my A class car to the F430, I obviously suck at this so I need all the help I can get
Also next week we do New York Old. C class is going to be.....interesting.
I'm surprised you kept the TVR this long. Took me all of four laps to swear never to drive one again.
For the record, this is basically challenging me to run a TVR next race/series. Ha ha, that would be terrible on the GP circuit ... Hmmmmm ... My muscle would be pretty good on ONY anyway. >_>
There may be further shenanigans afoot. Tune in next Tuesday for more details!

Yeah I pretty much adore that all the prices mean the exact same thing. I'd pay 80, tops, for a LE and 120 for a CE.

My problem is that a LCE that includes a wheel is entirely worth $200 or whatever, but I don't actually WANT a wheel, which basically alienates me from buying the game and thus losing out on whatever other content is included. An RC-car, on the other hand, would be pretty kick ass and if the quality was justified I would be all over that shit.
However I think it's much more interesting to stick to things that are universally appealing, which is generally the in-game content, not the physical stuff. This is where they SHOULD be putting their attention.
For forza I hook my xbox up to my PC monitor and hook the wheel to the desk. I keep the pedals under the desk and the cords sitting right on the desk so it's a simple hassle-free set up.

I've posted it before but my roommate is a sprint car driver IRL and he bought a second hand sprint car race seat for $20, grabbed some scrap lumber out of the garage and built us a racing chair for the xbox wheel. it is awesome.
Purely for curiosity sake--is there a list somewhere that indicates what features are available on which DLC cars? Apparently, some lack damage, interior views, etc.
The DMC-12 in the second Jalopnik pack apparently has both, but it's exceptional, apparently?

... Are you thinking of the right game? Every car in Forza has been made to the same quality as far as I've ever been aware. GT5 has the problems you're mentioning, and really no short supply OF those problems, but ... not Forza.
If anybody fancies downloading some meticulously crafted vinyl groups, my storefront has the Santander flags in both red and white, the Fiat, Tata, MIG and Acer logos, the Ferrari barcode, and the Ferrari Italian flag in perfect detail. My live handle is Steve Kinsen, and all of the decals are modeled after the Ferrari F10 livery.

Perhaps I can interest you in my meager selection of pins?

But more importantly, why wouldn't you want a wheel? What are you, a commie?
Commie.
I have the MS wheel but I don't even use it because it's such a PITA to set up.
In related news, the stock Volvo 242 is fun as a goddamn barrel of blackpowder. Doriftan through Camino Viejo Extreme all day.
Sell it... Sell it to meeeee >_>
I'll trade you a Ipad for Dummies book for it.

Every car in Forza has damage, upgrades, etc. Some of the R1 race cars don't have very many upgrades, but what do you expect?
There's none of this "premium cars vs. warmed-over leftovers" thing here like there is in GT5.
this game has like no upgrades
I can't take the 6,000 horsepower 500 cubic inch Hemis from top-fuel dragsters and put them into my Miata. What the fuck, T10?
