Nice... just as I settle in to actually get things prepped, the download fails on both the Car Pack sample and the Community Car Pack that I actually bought, both failing right at the 98% 99% mark supposedly. Puts a damper on the whole thing, I think.

oh The Road that we've been talking about is the chevy el camino which translates to The Road.
What, a Javelin kicking the shit out of a modern Z06?
Also, Bast, you said 1990 and newer for the S class in the new series, right?
I did
I want to get everyone's opinion. My idea for the next series was to have the exact same rules as the current series except one group is D class with the only restriction being it has to be 1989 or older and the other group 1990 or newer S class

Sounds good to me, I think. I am really liking the lapping element that the multiclass adds, as well as the wider variety of cars that you see on the road as a result.

Ha ha, I love how the green team keeps growing. XD They now double all other teams!
And I would echo Keml0's concerns about S-class. There's a major element of the AI at S wrecking the D-class cars once people in S finish. The difference in class basically assures that they're going to be 3-5 laps behind too.

I think size should get points for showing up to the second race last night, even if he couldn't run it :P
Also, Scatman I'm disappoint. I'm sure if you weren't handbraking every single turn and wiping out every other turn on GP circuit we'd still be in the lead :P

What? No. The 18" inch wheels tucked under the lowered AMX. It doesn't look right. It's not how muscle cars should look.
They're 16" wheels and the ride height is proper for Mark Donohue's Trans-Am AMX. You've also gotta realize you're looking at the offhand side while I'm going down the corkscrew, so it's leaning heavily towards the camera. BTW, the basis for the car:

Sorry for having an average finish of FIRST and FIRST AND A HALF.
How about instead of S vs. D we do E vs B?
D vs. B would line up with how we have the PI difference and it would be alright.

bone stock or all the same set-up s2000's, mr2's, fox-body's, or miatas. Separate the men from the boys.

I like E vs. B better, wider range of cars, but since it is still rather low tier, the differences in lap times won't be that huge, allowing for the lapping to occur mid to late race.

Also, can I use the Pantera for my A car? Do want.
its your turn to pick
Well, then I'll probably take A class on New York. I don't want to, my Murc feels really good on NGP, but I know my Mustang won't keep up on NY.
I think I can justify buying the Fanatec wheel and clubsport pedals now though!
Also, as an aside, any reason not to pick up the latest car pack?
No, The Road is reason enough.
Sweets... and was the race at 9, or 8 PM Eastern?
they no longer sell the turbo S. FML.
Maybe I should throw down the 400 microsoft points to get the car pack... 400 points is $5 right?
The've got a new model. The GT2 is xbox/ps3/pc compatible.

Perhaps I can interest you in my meager selection of pins?

Hurray - officially finished all R1 events. A little R2 and R3 left, but I enjoy those more anyway. Sooooo clooooooose ...

S and D is my vote, same as the original plan.
