I just got the Sanyo Innuendo since it looks decent and doesn't require some BS data plan like newer 'smart' phones do.
Problem is, I can't edit the menu (or as it's referred to, the 'Carousel') to add things like 'Recent messages' and whatnot. Well, I can add things for Google, Facebook, and Twitter - None of which I want to use. Some Google-ing says I 'require' a Data Plan just to change the UI of my phone? Is that true?
Additionally I keep getting error 1012 and nothing the tech I talked to has helped (though they didn't really tell me anything mind blowing, either).
So anyone who has a Sprint phone (or especially this phone) and has any idea what's going on, thanks in advance!
Edit: Not to mention that despite the phone being activated (I can make calls on it) everytime I start it up it attempts to do 'Hands Free Activation' which, as everything has been, fails after several minutes and gives me error 1012.

That's your first step, and if that doesn't work, request a new phone because if you just got this one it should be covered under some type of warranty.
However, if you have to have the data plan to change the UI, and that's part of the agreement, you're screwed, unless there's a LEGAL option to jailbreak it, like with the iphone.
Hrmph.
I'll look into the legal Jailbreaking thing.
