Wireless Dilemmas

All right. So here's my problem. I have a cable router and I have no desire to switch to a Wireless one if I can avoid it. Nintendo's Wi-Fi USB Adapter's the perfect solution when it comes to getting online on the Wii and DS with this in mind.

Now, is there some sort of adapter I can use of a similar fashion that'll work for the XBOX 360? Some USB device I can hook up to my PC that can produce a wireless signal that a cheap, compatible lan adapter connected to my 360 can pick up? I'd really appreciate any help. :D

See, I ask this because my 360 is hooked up to our HDTV downstairs. I'd really love to play it online from down there.

I just suggest popping down to your local Fry's or whatever, buying a really long CAT5 cable, and drilling a hole in the ceiling.

you'll never have to worry about signal strength.

Get a wireless adapter for the 360 and steal bandwidth from your neighbors.

The man speaks truth. Wireless networks are more convenient, but can be a real pain in the ass in many respects. Just run a fuckton of cable.

Ah, now I'm getting memories of stringing new phone line to hook up my Dreamcast back in the day. Good times. Good times.

We have a really really long cable. We had a similar setup a couple years ago when my brother had his PC downstairs. It's too much work and no one really wants to do it again. :(

    Ah well.

    Allright! Problem solved. My turn.

I have a D-Link wireless router, and I want to change the channel to 1 or 11 for optimal Wii performance, but I can't remember what name I gave it. I have the password written down, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what name I gave it. Nothing I can think of works. Is there anyway I can get this information?
