sorry ive been ignoring invites, but ive been screwing around in FFA and combat training, trying to be less terrible so im not a negative nancy anymore.
what are the best ARs for accuracy? ive been using the enfield and famas, but the famas seems to have unpredictable recoil sometimes.
Finished the Marathon flag requirement not to long ago. Thanks for the advice of using Lightweight/Sleight of Hand/Marathon with a Sub-Machine Gun. No help at all from teammates though. Hell, on one map I got a three flags by myself. I found that storing a Spyplane and Counter Spyplane and unleashing both once I grabbed the flag made life much easier.
Care packages next. Only need one more. I had a game earlier were my team wouldn't pick up my CP. Shit happened twice, which prompted me to put on a headset and beg them to take free stuff.

Yeah, but its a big cloaking field you don't need to stay around. Since most people are still in MW2 mind of "Hey there's someone with scrambler around!" Just set it up, move out of the area but go somewhere where you have LoS and just kill people that go looking for it.
Its fun to mess around with hacker pro too. drop, hack equipment, pick up and wander away.

Just in case you or anyone else doesn't know: anything that comes in a box counts as a care package for the Hardline Pro requirement. Makes it go much faster, especially if you're like me and have trouble getting up to Care Package.

I'm getting a message on Live that the BLOPS servers are unavailable, but their site says everything is up and running and I can see some of you playing.
Anyone else having this problem?

I snuck up on a camper today and instead of shooting his claymore and knifing him I just crept up to it, hacked the thing and waited for him to back into it.
So I've started having to play Blops with a controller since my wrists start to hurt after too long with mouse and keyboard. Not doing too bad but definitely at a disadvantage.

Yeah, I was getting that too. Now I can connect, but everything is fucked.
I like having 5 buttons instead of 3 on this mouse but I don't like clicking the middle mouse button and the side buttons are too small. The sensitivity also feels weird but that may be just because it's different
Well, the PA server was full so I took my chances on a random and got a hacked server. Not sure what to do. I'm now Rank 50 (from 31) and have a bunch of money I didn't earn. Kinda pisses me off to be honest. Like, do I prestige even though I didn't earn it so I can start earning rewards again? Or do I play around at 50 a bit so that when I do prestige I'll (hopefully) be a bit better at the game.
I took out a camper in a fun way. He was waiting for me the first time, so after he killed me, I circled around behind him after respawning, crept up on him, dropped C4 on his back and waited a good five seconds before detonating it. I hope he liked the killcam.

Jesus christ...I was getting my ass handed to me. If I try any other play style then roaming sniper (move from sniper point to sniper point, killing a few people at each), I just get creamed. This is going to be a hard time period learning how to not get constantly killed while playing a more assault style.
Plus, it seems that I need to hit guys more then they need to hit me...I had 4 registered hits on a guy with the commando from short range. He pops me back twice with a AK74u, and I die. Kill cam showed me shooting all around him and hitting him once.
You can, they show up as little dark green arty guns, just like the RCXD.
But I agree, friendly fire is dumb, HC is great fun, but getting killed/kicked for other peoples mistakes is a little annoying. Granted, I've made mistakes too...but I've gotten killed trying to cap an objective due to people mass throwing grenades in...more then I care to count.
I love hardcore DM, but I just wish someone would tell my team mates that semtex does not contain delicious candy. Every fucking time I throw one they go barrelling toward it like it's their mission in life.
That reminds me, yesterday during a match I wound up to throw a smoke grenade when a team mate walked in front, then just stood there looking at me. So I chucked it anyway and it corked him right in the head, killing him instantly.

I was once with some team mates breaching into a building to get the HQ.
We where shooting up the place, and I throw a flash bang. It donks a team mate who ran right in front of me in the back of the head, goes off, and blinds the entire team. We get murdered. Mostly killing each other as we run around shooting wildly.
Everyone on my team yelled at the dude who ran in front of me, and I had a good laugh.
im starting to get scary good with the tomahawk at times
i am starting to lose count how many running longshot distance targets i've hit
i mean, i miss a lot
but dang do i hit a decent amount
oh man i remember getting tomahawked, i laughed out loud cause of the angle. I don't even think I could see you.

Once, I threw a tomahawk. It missed. It proceeded to rebound off two walls and kill someone else entirely. It's kind of ridiculous how many times it can bounce and still be lethal.

GameServers.com will be rebooting ALL Call of Duty: Black Ops servers tonight in preparation for a new patch that is oncoming. The Patch is server-side only, but will address some critical server-side issues that are affecting the community-at-large.
If your server temporarily goes down, or if you're in a game that ends abruptly, this is why. Please just reconnect in a few minutes and everything will be alright .

with 5 buttons you can have the knife and lethal and tactical grenades on the mouse
so much easier than trying to hit G or 4 during a firefight

I CP'd in a mortar strike. Planted them, and my entire team congregates under where one of my strikes is...I killed like 7 people. All friendly.
