I highly enjoyed the SP campaign, and I played on Veteran. There were only a few points where I wanted to throw my controller in anger, which says a lot compared to MW2 or [email protected], when there was a constant need to restrain myself because new windows are expensive. The set pieces were great, the levels were pretty varied both location and style wise, and there's an excellent use of Rolling Stones.

There is absolutely nothing new about the gameplay or any interactive elements really, but the way they put all of that stuff into such a different plot is interesting, and the graphics and set pieces are second to none, as usual. But I wouldn't go for it at sixty bucks if you don't care for the COD multiplayer formula, though.
GameServers.com will be rebooting ALL Call of Duty: Black Ops servers tonight in preparation for a new patch that is oncoming. The Patch is server-side only, but will address some critical server-side issues that are affecting the community-at-large.
If your server temporarily goes down, or if you're in a game that ends abruptly, this is why. Please just reconnect in a few minutes and everything will be alright .

So does anyone who plays on the PA server want to be a pal and add me to their friends so i can hopefully join the server from them when they're playing then add it to my favorites from my history? After two days of looking for it i give up.
I played some demolition tonight and had an awesome game on Launch that went into overtime and I netted 51 kills, my highest in a game and set 10 personal bests and netted 30k xp. It was tense as shit with them planting B several times and us defusing it. So much fun.

So I find a great lobby with likeminded players, it's a good game of headquarters, I have some great killstreaks going, great teamwork, a 4:1 kill/death ratio
Then it decides to fucking dump everyone, strip the server offline (as a GameServers.com update), and hard-locked my PC.
I wish Weaver had gotten more screen time in the campaign, dude's badass.
He's always leading a separate team on the other side of your objective or something though.
EDIT: I'm also a sucker for eyepatches.
I think we might be seeing more of him in the future.
As of right now, the last bit of info I've found thus far indicates that Mason, Hudson, and Weaver are being hunted down by the CIA and MI-6 in 1978. In South Africa.

I was in a DOM game, and had JUST cleaned off an entire point with the flamer (it's hilariously good in hardcore)....was capping it...DROPPED.
My mouse only has three buttons so I've got my middle mouse for melee and moved 'nades over to 2 and 3.
I should really do something like that. I really don't understand why 2 and 3 aren't used at all in the default controls. I think I'll also bind Q and E to something else, as I never use the leaning.
That reminds me, need to swap out care package for something else. Because by the time the package lands and I can grab it the enemy is more often than not spawning right on top of me. I've had more stolen by the enemy than I've used.

Ballistic knife is a secondary, and AFAIK, can't get ricochet kills.

Such a rare occurance that I've yet to master it. Though I did get a good return double kill about an hour ago. 8-)
