It's so fun being put in a game of domination that's already in progress and the score is like 40-150
That always sucks, but this game seems to do a much better job of preventing that than the previous ones. I would say 3 out of 4 joins go to a lobby now versus maybe 1 in 10 for MW2.

Just remember that half the people you meet are below average intelligence.
So, now that I'm getting comfortable with the M14 with ACOG/Grip, I need a solid secondary for close quarters. I'm currently using the Ext Mags CZ75, but I'm wondering if I should be using a different pistol, some thing different entirely or even just concentrating on picking up weapons off the ground for backup?

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.

Good god, I think I broke a mirror at some point today. I can't get a game of this on the PS3. I join a lobby, wait for a minute for the map to be picked then disconnect. Or join a game mid session, find out there's 30 seconds left to play on a losing team, then disconnect when I get back to the lobby. Or just many many failed attempts of host migration. Other than today, my experience playing online has always been perfect. But i've been trying for literally hours here, to just have one non interrupted game.
How is Ghost OP? If any perk is OP I'd have to either say Hardened pro or Hardline pro.
Seriously, Sam turret/care package/sentry gun + hardline pro = fun times. I had a grim reaper, valkyrie rockets, and chopper gunner from a 5 killstreak. Its the best damn thing

Are some of you seriously going to say killing 80 people isn't helping win a domination game?
Are some of you also HIGH?
You need two kinds of players on a Domination team: ones who are good at getting kills, and others who play for objectives. These players need each other. Without the guys locking down objectives and taking control of the map, killers have a hard time predicting enemy movement. Without the guys getting massive killstreaks, the objective players have a hard time capturing points.
At the end of the day, though, you still lose Domination matches if you don't go for objectives, I don't care how many kills you scored. Domination is a game of Capture and Hold -- if you're not killing enemies who are going for your objectives, you might as well not even be there.
I seriously want to kick whoever decided I need to play CTF in the teeth.
If you're running with a whole team, I don't see what the issue is. You can get your 15 Captures in 3 games, so long as your team recognizes that you're the designated runner. Each game of CTF against randoms lasts, what, 6 minutes? Tops? It's really not a big deal.
Yeah, and if it's close enough to do that, it's jamming their radar anyways.
Nice. I will admit I'm a Motion Sensor whore. I've only been able to use the Jammer effectively a few times. Once with Hacker to shut down some claymores before clearing out the room with my SPAS.
I think I need to tweak my build to see if I can lose Ninja Pro and use Hacker more with my Ghost stealth build to aid with hunting down campers and making them sweat knowing that I'm out there somewhere, jamming their claymores.

I agree. A lucky early care package (get two chances with Harline pro) can sway the game in the first minutes. A Blackbird or Dogs is just nasty early on.
Sentry guns are so hit or miss for me. Either I mow down half the team, or I drop the thing and two seconds later have a knife in back and the thing is destroyed.
Me and my buddies moved to HC TDM on the 360...man it's so much more intense. After a few rounds of adapting though I was consistently at a 2.0 K/D ratio. It's a lot of fun, and far better than my wildly 0.5-3.0 K/D in non-HC TDM.

I think the effectiveness of Sentry guns depends on how much your team moves and if they are flipping the spawns so you can't really guard a choke point with the gun. I've given up on them largely because I hate waiting for the care package to come down, but they have done some good work for me in this game. They are quite awesome in objective games. I had one destroying people during a CTF on Firing Range.
I can't tell you how many times I've been in a shootout with someone, I drop, and his bullets that were aiming for my belly go into my head instead. Sometimes dropshotting helps, sometimes it does the exact opposite.

My friend is working on a roguelike game you can play if you want to. (It has free demo)
I never understood the problem with the dropshot. Doesn't really seem like an exploit so much a good idea.
I can only say it is really bad when a game is lagging and you're still shooting at a head when the head actually isn't there.
It's the same as bunny-hopping...it's abusing a mechanic that serves other purposes in the game. Bunny-hopping, quickscoping, and dropshooting aren't realistic. Before someone gets on the "LOL BLOPS REALISM" train, let me say that almost every other unrealistic part of the game is part of a tradeoff for deliberate gameplay reasons.
Bunnyhopping, quickscoping, and dropshooting are all annoying and unrealistic. They eliminated bunnyhopping by limiting how much people can jump. They eliminated quickscoping by introducing deviation at first. Why not do the same for dropshots?

Exactly. Dropshooting is pretty much 50/50 depending on whether or not your opponent aims for your center of mass.
It is a nice tactic, but a risky one.
@Mr_mich: It's simple. Quickscoping was broken because it used a mechanic that was meant to help compensate for the impreciseness of the controls on consoles. It was obviously a glitch because it wasn't meant to be used for that purpose.
Dropshotting isn't a glitch...because it is just shooting while going into the prone position.

Ext mag M1911 kicks ass
In my defense, I've run ghost since MW1. Helps compensate for the fact that I'm just not that good at the game.

Ghost pro is a must. Its the only way one can play without having to worry about the abusive killstreaks or spy plane spam.
I just played a round where a player from the opposing team spawned at arms reach from by back

And yeah I use Ghost Pro cos I hate beeing the only one trying to kill enemy air power and getting shot to ****.
Also, it appears that two Jammers don't cancel each other out, they just ignore each other and do their thing.

Ophidian Wars: Opac's Journey
Edit: I've yet to have a bad experience.
pffffft I already stole it. too awesome to not share!
My only real complaint is the fact that the party system blows, although it seems slightly better post-patch.
Also, I thought they were going to address the drop-shot, and it seems they didn't. That always steams my clams.
or are you playing the PC version
You'll love the next video I'm going to render then (seriously).
