Yeah, I'm down to play, but the servers are never full when I have the whim. A "legacy gaming series" event or something would be great, especially if it had special events like "kill flippy" or "win with all engineers"
Alright guys, not sure how many of us are available but I just thought it'd be nice to get a few people into Jon's place as a kind of send-off
I mean I'm sure it won't be the only time we get to do it (if we're lucky), but we'll hopefully start filling up in about twenty minutes, assuming people who saw the event cared enough to join
1 Vintage Hat of any kind costs 1 non-Vintage hat of any kind (this way I can melt them without feeling bad ). You can also do a straight 1-to-1 trade of non-Vintage hat to non-Vintage hat. This would be a good time to get rid of hatless hats. I'll accept Vintage hats in trade too. I'm not picky.
2 Hats costs 1 Set-Piece hat (Or rather, I'll trade 2 hats for a set-piece hat. I don't have any at the moment.)
1 utility item (dueling pistols, paint, nametag) costs 1 weapon
1 crate costs 1 weapon.
Just send me a message on Steam if I have something you want. (Steam name is just "UndeadScottsman") I've gotten new inventory since the last time (like only four hats) so be sure to check things out. Also, don't post requests in this thread or PM me: just send me a message on Steam. (Steam makes a noise so if I'm playing something else I'll hear it.)
So, last night, I logged in for the first time (before I remembered that my ping is usually crap until late-night on Fridays... ISP gets overwhelmed easily), and I saw an alert indication on the title screen. It said: "You have new items! (1)". So I was all, "Huh, weird." I went and clicked "Show me", and lo and behold: The Texas Ten-Gallon. Straight outta nowhere.
Kupi on
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.
So the beta is just like playing normally, but with all sorts of fancy little changes that may or may not happen in the full game, right?
Also items given out instantly and no random drops. Also, you need to download everything a second time, which I think is weird, as I'm pretty sure that the CS:S beta shares files with the regular version.

Oops.

Who wants to play in the TF2 beta
I would not be against testing them
Yeah...
and then it will be the best
beta, β, the failed standard that competed with VHS, etc.
If the idea of testing potentially overpowered shit makes you ragevomit, then don't do the beta
I could always try to organize a charity tournament to get the interest back up :-)
Joe's Stream.
are there any new maps
Mainly I've been playing games that don't have hats.
Here are my prices

I might not play TF2 regularly for months
How much drive space is the beta? Is it like a second TF2 in size?
