I'm not sure what it's gonna take for Illinois to get in. They might be in now? But I'd feel better if they won a couple games in the Big Ten tourney. But that's not in Champaign, so...they probably won't.

lunardi has them as a 10 seed, so yeah, they're in now

I'm pretty sure MSU is getting the benefit of the doubt because of their coach alone. They're not very good this year and I don't believe they've beaten one team that has remained ranked.

they're benefiting from a great strength of schedule due to a brutal non-conference schedule (though they didn't really beat any of the teams they played, besides washington)
washington on a neutral floor and wisconsin are their two solid wins

Played Texas, Maryland, UNC, Gonzaga, and Missouri. (lost to the Big 12 teams), plus half the Big 10 was ranked at one time or another.
But man, looking at what they've done since Decemeber... one good win vs Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, and Minnesota each... everything else.. yeesh

I was busy watching Maryland choke at the free throw line after assuming UCONN had finally put Syracuse away, so I missed whatever 'Cuse shenanigans got it tied and into OT

I don't even think a win over michigan state qualifies as a good win, especially the way michigan state was playing at the time, ame with minnesota really
Also, they've lost to Indiana and Illinois-Chicago, and are essentially incompetent away from home

Fine by me.
think bc is going to have to win two games in the acc tournament to get in
let me go check the score
Getting this on the new page.

I think he's got MSU as one of the last 4 in too.

Super disappointing but the tournament should still be fun as long as duke doesn't win
Come on people, we've only got 3 people so far. Selection Sunday will be upon us soon.
You chose... poorly
I've done ESPN on this board every single year for the past 4 years with zero issue whatsoever.
YAY A10 BBALL!
maybe it is that the only thing in the thread title related to NCAA BASKETBALL MARCH MADNESS WOO is Coach K and not many people notice
I chose ESPN... dunno about you.
I know people say they're a lock for the tournament but I honestly don't see it

Yeah, I didn't want to make a new thread. We don't usually have a running college basketball thread when this comes up.
guess which two teams are going into overtime?

UAB still has a chance!
(fire Mark Fox)
but after today i'm not optimistic
Thanks for the heads up!
If we end up winning this whole thing we can feel confident in knowing we beat some quality teams.
