I am the asshole who doesn't like The Incredibles, you can yell at me now.

I'd just like to know why. Not that I am saying you are wrong and not entitled to your opinion.

I dunno about the rest of you but all I care about for the next year is Cowboys and Aliens, and not even the siren song of zombie sharks can sway me.

It's like if you put together two of your favourite flavors that you never dreamed of pairing, like... Carolina-style pulled pork and Belgian chocolate.

Only instead of being weird it tastes like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in your brain. It's everything I never knew I wanted.

At least that's what I'm hoping.

You too? I honestly can't think of a single instance in which I've agreed with that guy, yet I still watch his show because it's at least mildly entertaining.

Anyway, has anyone else here been to the big Pixar exhibit at the Oakland Museum? It's there until Jan 9th. Really awesome, also you must necessarily watch the short movie they have playing on a loop in the back of the exhibit. I can't say that I'm excited over Cars 2 but whatever.

Also, while we're arguing I thought it was interesting that The Incredibles was on this list. I see what they are saying, but considering that they put it at #2 on the list it certainly wasn't particularly ideologically conservative, at least in a fiscal sense (the whole set up to the movie was demonizing insurance companies.) Note: I consider myself liberal.

I will sit there and wait for it to get good

I will try my hardest to squeeze entertainment from it

I actually can't like the Incredibles.

    Spoilered is the personal reason:
My mom took my brother and me to see it. She made it sound mediocre to my dad, dismissing it as something the kids wanted to see to make sure he didn't come along. About 20 minutes into the movie, she said she was taking a phonecall and didn't come back until it was almost over. What she was actually doing was seeing another man in the parking lot. My dad found out and they divorced.
