Hi guys. I have acquired NBA Jam for the Microsoft XBOX 360 internet capable hd interactive entertainment device. I do not know if anyone else here has it, but if they do I will be glad to school them.

    here's the deal

    NBA Jam was a disc based game for the wii. the big boy consoles were getting the big boy NBA game, NBA Elite 11. A basic version of the wii game with online multiplayer was a downloadable bonus for buying NBA Elite 11. However, the demo got such a bad reception that they delayed and eventually cancelled Elite. Being stuck with no NBA game on two of the biggest consoles, they rushed to put the fully featured NBA Jam on a disc, it came out yesterday. I WILL NOW TAKE QUESTIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE

    it's such a fucking rush job too

    I mean the game is excellent, but there are like, 200 point achievements and stuff.

    the disc is just black with the game logo on it

    it's kind of hilarious

    Well that's what happens when you have to rush to get a game out on disc when your actual retail NBA game gets canceled for being totally fucking busted!

    it feels a touch slower than the old games, and the controls take a little getting used to, but it is pretty awesome

    I owned a Wii for a few months. Gave it to my niece after she asked me nicely and reminded me that she's blind in one eye.

    If I had live I would definitely get it for the 360 but I am a cheap ass and don't want to pay for it.

    Even though it's a quality service.

    I paid $80 for this when it came out on SNES from a Canadian Tire.

    I think I sold it for like $6 used a few years later and then felt really terrible for a while after.

    I will not lie, I had both NBA Jam and NBA Jam TE on snes.

    Also, playing this with 4 people at the cabinet was the only way to fly. Its one thing to shove and dunk on screen, its another when players 2 and 3 are elbowing for real position.

    Also, I was more excited for this before they fucked up the whole Elite bundle debacle.

    This may have to wait for a used copy...
