yes. if you routinely beat bronze players but lose to silver ones you will remain in bronze.
blargh. I need to face and beat more silver guys. Yesterday seemed like nothing but other bronze guys.
You can always post replays for advice. Or just ask for someone to coach you. Chances are if you're in bronze that it's just some macro issues to deal with.
PA dudes are super helpful and such.
seriously, just post the replays, and grow a thick skin :-)
these guys have helped me a large amount. don't be afraid of putting up a a replay.
When I brought it up, I was thinking I'd just go to the Amazon wish page for the hospital of choice and buy $50 worth of stuff. If we want to do something more formal, as a group, awesome. However, I am not the person to step up for that, and the speculative "you" that does it, you are the awesomest. So if someone once to organize, I'll be quiet now, otherwise I'll stick with my original plan .

I'm thinking it would be really cool to set up a fund just for the event.
And then the casters could be like "We hit $200! Let's go for $300" etc, between games.
I have next to no idea how to do this, though. I'm thinking PayPal.

way to ditch me when I was on the phone.. bastards!
Eh, it was getting late. We won, though.
I did nothing whatsoever in that last game, aside from sniping some repairing SCVs on Thor-guy (who, himself, did nothing).
Awesome.
I was all like "man I totally dominated the muta air game"
then I watched the replay and saw that ryougi basically killed off both the zerg by herself.
Well, s_86 (Simon) and I (Topp) have played. I got 2-0'd by much superior play. Three hours of sleep + 5 hours in the library a Starcraft excuse does not make.
Here are the replays:
Well Kedinik and I had our games for the tournament. Early, I know, but I have work all day tomorrow so it had to be done!
I wont spoil it, but they were some fun games that didn't involve the typical baneling vs baneling!
Good games; I recommend number 2 as an especially unusual match.
I just watched through the second one and saw a point where I could have possibly been able to get a really good lead.
Right as my Mutas arrived you had just finished that spore crawler. If I had've come in just a tad sooner, and brought all my lings too, I could have probably been able to take out a lot of stuff and escape with not too much damage on myself provided I was able to keep my mutas mostly all alive. Oh well

Both of you had good moments in these, but Anzekay, you really demonstrated how easily top-tier zerg units can make you lose a match. Ultralisks are almost never a good idea, and brood lords are ABSOLUTELY never a good idea.
I've been playing a few matches vs. PAers lately. If anyone wants to add me, I'm DocWalrus.120 and I'm a high-silver Zerg supremacist.

We're serious.
I don't know what you mean though.
Also Joe and hlprmnky, I need a date and time so that Geoff can try to work us into his schedule.
Does the evening of Saturday the 27th work for both of you? Any schedule considerations, problems, etc?

i thought that we were delaying a week for Dhal's tournament.
We need someone to set rules, format, and set a 3 match card. It really shouldn't be participants.
I'm in for $50 for whatever Child's Play hospital of the winners choosing.
We'll need a little time to create the card, and advertise if you want to actually attract viewers.

EDIT: Ah, okay, it sounded like you had some personal relationship with him xD
That looks perfect.
Seems like we could route it directly to the PA child's play paypal but still keep a tally of how we're doing.
e: Though we'd need their paypal email to set it up, so hmm.
That sounds like the way to go.

Edit: As Terran, that is.
Nah, that would be great. Would be a step up from just kind of guessing what to do.

I don't think my name is synced with my account, and that I therefore can't report results. Am I missing something?
Tank splash springs to mind as a more obvious one, hits the SCVs.
Although the whole point of Thors in TvT is to smash tank lines.
PDD stops thor's AA missles and banshees 2 shot scvs.
A thor rush comes earlier than that though, really marine marauder should beat it just fine.
