Unofficial Transcripts

Still job hunting and some of the applications ask for unofficial transcripts. Does anyone who's at/attended UofT know how to get your unofficial transcripts from ROSI? I know I can get official ones but it's $10 and it'll take a little while to be delivered.

Right now, the best that I can do is view my academic history and then I save the whole page. When I send that file, well some of the images and fonts don't show up correctly and the format is a little screwy but the marks and courses come out ok. Is that good enough?

Edit: Actually, it looks a lot better if I just copy and paste the info into a word document. Is that acceptable?

When I log into my account on my school's webpage, under my registration history there is a section of my unofficial transcript.

If you can't find it online, try calling the Registrar's office. They may be able to e-mail one to you.

You'll probably want it to look as official as possible and not just copy and pasted into Word, as the potential employer may think you have messed around with your grades.

Yeah I looked around on the registrar's site and basically, it's copy and paste or pay the $10 for the official one. I will try to contact them about it though, get something a little more official looking.

Edit: lol the suggestion to copy and paste? I actually got that from UofT's career centre site.

Instead of saving the page and sending it, I'd try to get a PDF printer driver (Acrobat Pro installs one, or a free option like CutePDF) and print it to a PDF file. That way it should look just like it does on your screen, images, fonts, and all.

Or it's built into OSX, if you're on a Mac
