PC LCD Monitor Suggestions

I'd like to get a new monitor for Christmas. I've searched around, but I've had better luck getting PC suggestions here than I have from reviews, so...

Basically, around 25" (23 and so are OK, but it can't be much bigger than 25). HDMI is a must. 16:9, my current is 16:10. I mainly use it for watching blurays and playing games, so a good refresh rate would be nice (honestly I'm not really sure what ms response time I should be looking for).

Links would be nice, simply because my parents are going to buy it and it's easier to give them a link than a model number. Especially nice if I can get it directly from Amazon since they have a good return policy and my parents and myself both have Prime so that covers the shipping cost.

This is pretty much the one that I've got at home. Very smooth and a tad cheaper than the HP model that MushroomStick linked. The HP one probably has a nicer warranty to go along with the slightly larger screen size, though.

The Asus VH236H is apparently what's used for EVO, so it must be pretty decent for gaming. And they've always had a good reputation for reliability.

NewEgg: HDMI-1, Max resolution 1900x1080, 5 ms or under has been the guideline for gaming for a while, and I think it's hard to find a monitor that isn't under that. Typically monitors distinguish themselves most obviously with their luminosity. There are Wikipedia articles on that.

I'm loving the Dell U2711. It's not cheap but worth it (and it's on sale at the moment).
